The adidas ZX line began a success story in 1984 that continues over 25 years later. As with most of today's popular sneaker silhouettes, the focus of the adidas ZX line was initially on the athletic performance of the shoe. Jacques Chassaing was responsible for the original design of the ZX line at the time. The very first shoe in the line was launched in 1984 as part of the revolutionary adidas ZX Running concept. Another milestone at the time was the use of the Torsion system on a shoe in the ZX line. The Torsion system is a kind of ultra-light bridge that connects the forefoot to the heel. In this way, the Torsion system stabilizes the entire foot, giving the runner extra stability. Even the subsequent models are still firmly part of the great ZX repertoire today and legendary shoes like the adidas ZX 8000 Aqua inevitably wrote sneaker history.

Managed to snap these trainers up for a really good price. Adidas would be my go to for trainers and these have lived up to previous experience. Really comfy and I love the bright colours.

The designers clearly wanted to use as many different materials as possible when making these trainers. Having said that they look good and are very comfortable. Great value as purchased half price in the sale.

Yet again another fantastic pair of trainers from Adidas! Stylish comfort and top quality! 5*
The ZX 8000 are some of the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn and the colorway with its varied blend of material for this particular pair has a certain stylish flair to them. I look forward to getting another pair of these creatively designed ZX 8000's in the near future.
I absolutely love the sneaker! I wish the website was more clear on these being men footwear. I ordered the wrong size because of that so a bit disappointed.
They were so much better than I expected. I loved their volume, as they are not very bulky, but not very slim either. Colours are exactly like the photo, except the front grey suede part, that is a little more grey-beige. The back green part is a hard plastic, which is very fun and quirky.
Love this sneaker and what a great price! Great fit as well as very comfortable! And this yellow is so vibrant!! This shoe will make a great addition to your sneaker rotation.
Bought these a couple weeks ago and they've worked out super well ! Very comfortable and fits my foot really nicely. I ordered an 8.5 and it fits like one. sturdy and also pretty warm!
