Ordered 2 hoods for myself and wife. Wife reports hers kept her warmer during snorkelling - this is her first hood. I have yet to try mine. Seems better tailored and stitched than one I bought off another company at twice the price. Neck is shorter than most others I have seen and there is no base flare. So it barely tucks under collar of wetsuit torso neck. This however does allow increased neck mobility. Sizes are tight and large size on me feels like a medium. For $10, good value for money.

Like most land and sea gear it seems good value .I use their rashies and wetsuits and have had a good run with them.My only criticism is they tend to be on the smaller size with the labelling.The large hood is fairly tight if they had an xlarge I should have gone with that.I don’t think I have an above average head size.Their wetsuits also err on the smaller side with regard to the labelling.eg xxl is xl in another brand.
