I was excitingly waiting for this to arrive in the post, due to the overall positive reviews. Upon arrival however I took it for a quick spin only to find how high off the ground the deck was, which proved to be very straining on the back and knees. It was very loud and rickety, the next suburb away could hear me scooting down the street. The folding mechanism was not only extremely difficult and flimsy to use but unsafe, it caved in on itself the third time I took it for a ride.Very disappointing.

I bought this for an extremely tall 12 year old (adult size child!). Absolutely brilliant. Great quality. He has been on it every day all Summer and still looks new. Great that you can adjust the height. Good wide room for feet. Highly recommend. Easy delivery etc. No problems. 5 Stars. Would buy this again in a heartbeat and probably will.

Good for a bit of fun, but not a high quality durable item.Difficult to tell the build and wheel quality of an item when you're buying online.The plasticy wheel is totally slippery in the wet - rendering the brakes useless.The brakes aren't strong on the wheel when its dry - so wouldn't want to be scooting in a hilly area.Plus when scooting for a while you need to check the main pin hasn't rattled itself loose.I also managed to get speed wobbles at one point. (I'm an overweight middle aged karen with two pre-schoolers....so I wasn't going that fast.)Having said that - it allows me to keep up with the kids, and have a blast around the local lake (flat concrete path), and its ok over the bumps of the local (flat) footpaths. Who would have thought I would find the perfect gift for my grandsons at FTS. But I did, 2 fantastic Adrenalin Street Runner 200 scooters for 2, now very thrilled and active little boys. Purchased two of these and received within a few days, which was unexpected as we live interstate. The 7 and 11 year olds and adults have loved the smooth ride with the suspension. A clear plastic cover that covers a red spring on the base has already disappeared but does not affect performance. Would be great if they came in different colours or could chop and change wheels to go over more rugged surfaces. All up a great scooter at a great price.
I use the scooter to ride between my car and work, probably racking up 2km a day. Its pretty good, but over time I've realised the deck is a bit high for comfortable commuter scooting. The lower the deck, the less your muscles need to work to compensate the height difference between your feet when ones hitting the ground and the other is on the deck.Also lately the handle bars have come loose in the neck, and now they rotate by themselves. I tightened it all up but there is an inherent design problem in the way its secured, so after only a few rides its loose again.Also the way the folding mechanism is secured into the aluminium frame, the aluminum has been worn away and now its loose and rattles.It's still a good value scooter, I'm just using it more than it's ... MoreI use the scooter to ride between my car and work, probably racking up 2km a day. In general the scooter is good, there's just a bolt that is used to unlatch/collapse the scooter to make it easier to store/transport. The bolt in this place is thin, and not strong enough. This part severely bent within 2 weeks of having the scooter. I've now had to tighten it to the point that it's not usable to collapse the scooter to avoid it breaking completely. Its a shame, the rest of the scooter is great, just let down by one bad quality part.
I bought the Adrenalin Scooter so I could go scooting with my son, and although I had my doubts about the quality of the item before it arrived, I have absolutely no doubts about how fantastic it is now - I was quite surprised by how comfortable scooter, with the handlebars reaching a decent height for my 175cm tall frame, (it could go up higher if I wished), the footing platform is wide enough for both of my feet to sit side-by-side, which makes me feel supported, and the heel brake is perfectly located and easy to use. It folds down easily to fit into my compact car and it was delivered within a week, which is amazing during this covid period. (purchased on a Friday morning and delivered to Nth Qld by Thurs afternoon of the next week. Had the scooter for 6 months when one of my 50kg girls was flying down a hill and the shear pin failed at the base of the thread. That is a sudden catastrophic failure and she lost a fair amount of skin. The pin was a fairly flimsy 4mm diameter so I compared it with 5 other brands we have at home and found that all were around 6mm diameter shear pins. Of all the places to economize on a scooter this must be the worst.If you take for example an Oxelo town 7 which is a very similar and comparatively priced scooter (way better value). The equivalent pin is 6mm diameter (2.25 x the area) and is carrying roughly half the load due to an increased lever arm and a wheel suspension system. We bought 2 of theses scooters. They both came out of the box with scratches and appalling workmanship and seemed almost as if they were pre used. Unfortunately we didn't discover this until we were on holidays and the kids opened them on xmas day. (try stopping a kid using their xmas present on Xmas day.) They worked fine however one had a malfunctioning handle bar adjustment. (the little push button fails to engage in the hole so it keeps falling to the lowest setting. Fortunately this one was being used by a child that was that height. Overall I think these scooters work as described however the attention to detail is non existent. Also one of the scooters already has the grip tape peeling off. Very poor workmanship and I was very disappointed by their condition.
