Our beautiful failed guide dog Desmond was raised on Advance Puppy and Advance Adult dog food. Thinking that he may like a change from that particular label, we bought another brand and from the first bite, the expression on his face changed and he stopped eating, stared at us as if he was saying "are you kidding me?" From then on, we had to find someone who could use the food as Desmond flatly refused to eat it. So of course we went back to using his favourite Advance and have not had a single complaint from him since. Thank you Pet Circle for the fantastic delivery times and price you charge for Advance. We will continue using your very reliable service.

I have had some difficulty finding a suitable weight management food for my 12 yr old, very active labrador. While she enjoys this food, I am noticing a definite deterioration in her coat. She normally has a gloriously shiny black coat but it is gradually becoming duller and coarser. I regret not associating this with her food before commiting to a repeat delivery. I will not continue with this brand.

Over a couple of days they grew to like the biscuits but seem to prefer them as small treats. Upon looking at the packet, there is no measurable amount of salt listed in the Typical Composition Table, and only a single word of "salt" placed within the list of ingredients. This factor is a very important point, particularly for those of us that live in the hotter, drier parts of the country. I love the idea of this product. Whilst my dog is not overweight, he could go in that direction as he ages so it is a good idea to get him used to such a product now. He is a lover of fresh meat, so eats his chicken wings first every evening. He will sometimes move on to his beef soup bone, but often prefers to leave this until the following morning when it has ‘matured’. The morning is when he is also more likely to chomp into his dry food, after he has had his corner of toast and butter he waits for my husband to give him! This is a high quality and healthy dog food which my pet loved. It is aimed at providing good nutrition whilst helping to keep weight within a healthy range. My dog is such a glutton and has put on weight in the last 12 months, so this Advance Healthy Weight range is perfect for our needs. My dog has always had really bad breath too which nothing seems to have been able to fix, up until now. This seems to have cured the problem so I will definitely be switching to Advanced Healthy Weight. Thank you very much Home Tester Club for the opportunity to sample this great product! Very happy.
I was super impressed when I received the sample that came to my house via courier. I was amazed at how large the packages were. My dog (Miss Tara) was unfortunately less than impressed. She sniffed it but then literally turned up her nose at it. I was so disappointed. I did give the leftover packet to my neighbour who has a larger dog than me and I am happy to report that her dog loved the product. It seems what's good for the goose isn't always good for the gander.
The Advance food was good but not really suitable for my dog, an 8 year old black Labrador with a propensity to put on weight easily. I prefer the Hills Prescription Metabolic and/or Mobility did as it really works to keep his weight in check. As for the friendly service I received on my phone calls, I have nothing but praise for both Jordan and Jade. Very helpful, friendly and understanding. Heaps of compliments to you both.
We were very interested to trial this food for our Labrador. She is small for a Lab but the vet tells us she is 3 - 5kg overweight. Over the course of the last few weeks we have noticed a bit of a waistline appear on her, and we did try to weigh her which was a bit difficult but best estimate is she has lost around a kilo. With regards to the dry dog food, I really liked the larger size of the biscuits compared to other brands, and found it easy to give the correct amount of food according to the directions. No point in spending time wondering if she enjoyed the flavour as she would eat anything given to her. Another positive outcome we noticed was her stools were firmer and better formed, so easier to clean up. We have had our Giant Schnauser on this product for a few months and it has worked well. Initials no but he is use to it now. I agree with another reviewer about the flavors. My boy loves fish kibble so tolerates the chicken. I occasionally toss a handful of fish kibble in as a treat.
My dog has always been given dry biscuits along side her meat. She has never really cared for the dry food that much. But the minute I opened ADVANCED dry food, I couldn't get her nose away. She absolutely loves these biscuits and dear I say, maybe as much as her meat! She won't stay away from the cupboard where we store the food. 10/10 recommend. There are also so many benefits for dogs and better yet, the profits go to Guide Dog Australia!
