We like the portability of this firepit. It does take some getting used to as the fire needs to be set up differently to many other fires but that won't be a problem now we have done it a few times. Nice and easy to put together and take apart and carry.

Fantastic! We were sent a replacement one within days of raising a Warranty Claim (after speaking with customer service) as the original one did not slide together easily. The replacement is perfect. Slides together smoothly, easy to set up and pull apart. Definitely worth buying the carry bag too as it makes it that little easier to transport. (That being said, the fire pit itself has a handle cut into it on all 4 panels, so you can do without the bag)

Good quality, set up is really quick and easy. Had some issues getting a nice hot fire at first as airflow (oxygen to the fire) is not that good. Drilled a couple holes in each side and that worked, fire burns nice and hot now! If you have a grill plate it will most likely fit on this pit so that's good as well.

Very sturdy fire pit, easy to assemble. Perfect size for making a great camp fire for warmth or for cooking.Takes up minimal room when folded and canvas storage bag is perfect for storing and transporting it cleanly. Can't wait to get out of lockdown and use it!!

Better than expected. There are other reviews which knock this product. These persons have no idea how to use a fire pit. Have cooked over fire pit with Excellent results. Bought another one for my son for his birthday which I know he will enjoy in his camping adventures.

What I love about this fire pit is it disassembles into a flat unit! So it takes up no room. Have not yet field tested or used for any length of time. Tested it out over the weekend. On first impression I thought it was way too small! But after using it its perfectly fine, a little awkward to light, but not really a problem, seems to retain heat and coals to cook with for a good length of time. Easy to assemble and disassemble as well as wash down. As others have mentioned it could do with some holes around the base to increase airflow, easy fix! But bear in mind that increasing airflow means you will probably go through your wood quicker, and coals may not retain their heat for as long.

Excellent product. We tested the fire pit at home prior to camping and found it easy to assemble/disassemble and pack into the carry bag. Quite heavy but this is not an issue for us. Keeping a fire burning was an issue as there was very little air flow due to the design. With the two side plates in place, there is almost no gap at the bottom of the pit which caused the fire to smoke excessively and stop burning. We modified it by simply adding two small pieces of flat aluminium on the outside of each end which prevents the two side plates from coming together and creates a gap of around 20mm. We then made a tin plate tray to catch all the ash, a mild steel plate (3mm) which simply sits on top of the pit for the billy and we now have the ideal pit for our needs. Rust on the pit will eventually be a problem however this is easily remedied with a thin coating of olive oil after cleaning. If needed, we would gladly purchase again. Photos may not have uploaded.

Great idea but could be improved. Lack of airflow at base makes it difficult to start and maintain a decent fire. I've since drilled 3 x 20mm holes on each long side about 75mm above the base and this has helped, but now considering getting the angle grinder out and making some long slots. The long sides have already warped after 1 small fire, but still able to fit together.

Great fire pit! Initially reviews said to add extra air holes, we found this isn’t necessary. Stacked the wood so air could flow in. We found after the first couple of uses the bottom points where the plates meet warped outwards slightly which allowed better airflow as where the plates touch from each side had a larger gap. Was toasty warm to sit around and not so large that we could have it under our gazebo (with caution and ensure your gazebo isn’t getting hot/going to melt)- was able to use it on a raining night which was a bonus!

The fire pit is ok, however i did struggle to get a decent fire going in it to start with. It needs some extra ventilation to allow air to get to the fire. I mitigated this by not sliding the sides in all the way and leaving a gap in the bottom, however doing so made the fire pit redundant when all the coals fell out the bottom lighting the grass beneath it. My suggestion would be to drill some holes in the bottom for airflow or include a base for coals to drop onto. The canvas bag is a must and i wish it were included.
