Bought this as soon as it came out. I bought this instead of the bigger 18v air compressor. Tested on my box trailer tyres. Pumped from 22 to 44 psi in 2:50. Did the other side 28 to 44 psi 2:30. Using a 6ah fully charged battery. A little slower than my arb on board compressor but it’s portable. Only thing is the hose go too hot to touch where it leaves the body of the pump after only 2 tyres, that will be where the hose will fail from heat eventually. Also could do with an enclosed storage box on the back for the small accessories that will get lost eventually as they’re only clipped in place. But very happy as a portable air compressor for doing dirtbike tyres and air mattresses/footballs.

I like the ease of use, can do my tires, rugby balls kids bikes and air beds. I agree with others, a little on the loud side, but managed. Has been great camping. Other reviews pointed out how the attachments are placed. This does need a redesign. I agree this and the hose seem to be the weak points. Overall though for $200 and a 6yr warranty can't go wrong.

This is one product where expectations were well and truly exceeded. Purchased to compliment my aeg nail gun I have since used it to replace my thumper air compressor for my 4 wheel drive. Also love the high flow for air mattresses when camping. The deflate option let's me pack up with ease. Great product!

I bought this yesterday and rate it below average for an AEG product.Looks amazing but doesn't deliver several things.Pressure gauge always freezes around 6psi when inflating a 5' paddle board.Finished at 10.5psi when target was 8psi.They use non standard high volume hose fittings. Even the bayonet fitting on the unit is non a standard.So inflating anything like kitesurfing kites or wingfoil wings is out.As you can't swapout the useless AEG hose for a standard bayonet hand pump hose.In high volume mode their is no setable pressure control.I did manage to pump up my AIRpro board, using a special 3rd party high pressure to Boston valve adaptor.But this product needs an overhaul if it is to be used for anything other than tyres.
This is a fantastic tool for keeping trailer & vehicle tyres inflated at the desired pressure. Just dial-up the required pressure & let it go. I also love being able to easily move around my vehicles without needing to drag a hose. It is also ideal for my offroad vehicle where I can deflate the tyres for soft ground & then pump them up again when back on the hard ground.
This little pump is a handy little home tool. It gets used more then any thing. I’ve showed the kids how to use to and they now pump up there own bike tyres. Take it out when we go to the dam and it pumps the ski tubes up with ease. Even the wife figured out how to use it for her push bike. It’s a perfect little family tool.
Works OK as a compressor but marginal as a blower. Good control features. However, design of adapter for tyres is poor as the screw-on. fitting takes time to get off and loses some air in the process. Worse though is the length of the straight section to the valve coupling which makes access in confined spaces impossible! A poor design in this area.
Having switched from the Ryobi system, I loved their similar inflator. It lived in the boot of my car and was very handy. This does the same job, is in a smaller footprint and slightly better to use with the rotary dial and light. The only downside is the price at nearly $200. The Ryobi equivalent was $119 a couple of years ago, now it too has crept up to $149. These are a must have for any person with an 18v system.
I bought this for to inflate my SUP paddle board. Works great and inflates my large board in less than 5 minutes and only uses 2 bars of battery life. I pulled off the fitting on a manual SUP pump and it fits perfectly on the low AEG’s low pressure hose. You will need the Schrader valve adapter for the high pressure phase of inflation.
I purchased this inflator and in main very happy with the unit. A few minor gripes. The 12v cord cannot be stored on unit so easily lost / misplaced. The deflator is a pain as you have to hold the button in whilst deflating tyre. Which can be very time consuming. I did fix this myself with a cheap little plastic clamp which fits over cord and deflator button. Maybe AEG could invest 50 cents and include in with the product. A simple & cheap addition which you;d make it a lot easier to use.
