Have a few AEG 18V tools, driver, 1/2" impact & sub-impact guns. All good/great tools.Decided to try the hedge trimmer, have found it a bit under powered. Says good for upto 25mm diameter. Hmmm, understand that would be the softest plant material you can find. Still a bit disappointed when it made really hard work of approx 12-14mm bottle brush green twigs.Did think about the 56v version, didn't want to start a whole nother battery/charger set-up though & it does look heavy.Suggest a good unit for light to very mild work. Forget moderate level.May need to take it back to Bunnings & up-trade to the big brother....

I used to have an (alternate brand) electric hedger that died. I thought that I would try a battery operated one and I wish Iâd done it sooner!This is easier to handle, more powerful and⊠just better made than I would have expected of a battery hedger. You can even get parts for it!It made short work of our gardening and the missus loves it đWell done AEG!

Great package with battery and charger plus bonus redemption either a 4ah battery or blower. The hedger is a quality product, no problem cutting through hedges, the swivel handle is a useful feature. Battery life is good, have tried other brands in the past and none match the quality feel of the AEG, another good feature is the blades are replaceable itâs not the cheapest on the market but quality does cost more I have no hesitation in recommending this hedger.
Great hedge trimmer, first tested on a big unkept hedge, did an awesome job - cut through it like butter - even the thick branches. Did it all an a single charge with plenty left and the rotating base came in very handy. Lots of power.A bit expensive but the bonus offer took the edge off the pain a little bit.

I got this to help maximise the slower months when lawns werenât growing as much. This hedge trimmer is very light but very tough. I do use a multi tool hedge trimmer aswell but itâs very heavy.Highly recommend this, plus canât go wrong with the warranty provided.
Very light weight and easy to use, although it sounded like it does no cycle fast enough to cut through dence foliage it actully does.I am more than happy with this hedge trimmer.I feel much safer using this than my petrol trimmers.I would recomend it to all wishing to purchase it.
This hedger turned a painful job into one that I enjoyed doing in half the time it usually takes! With plenty of power, it chews through the job like cutting butter. Highly recommended. I wish I bought it sooner. The sweetener was a free blower via redemption. Can't wait to to buy a trimmer now!
I spent 4 hours last weekend with my old Ozito hedger and loppers cutting my old hedge down to a more manageable height. I only got 2/3rds done before the heat and frustration got the better of me. On the following Monday, I bought this hedger and completed the last third of the hedge in about 30min. I was worried that I should have purchased the 58V version, thinking the 18v would not have enough grunt to cut through the Murraya, with branches up to 2cm. I was wrong, handled it easily and was glad I didn't have to lug the extra weight of the bigger system.I got home and registered the product to find there was a redemption offer, so got a second battery for free. Making it excellent value.
