Aerogard Naturals Plant Based Insect Repellent Spray, 175ml

We get loads of mozzies in our back yard and my 9 year old son is a mozzie magnet. I hate that horrible smell from normal chemical repellents and the taste that gets in your mouth - it’s gross and obviously not good for us. This however smells so so good!!! And I love that it’s a natural product for me and my family. Highly recommend as an alternative to the nasty stuff :)

I loved that this Aerogard Naturals pump spray is all about being natural and effective to combat mozzies and flies. The pump comes in a convenient size that is very easy to hold and pump directly onto arms and legs. The ingredient is a lemon Eucalyptus. It's a nice smell that doesn't irritate my nose. I found it useful for outdoor use over the summer, especially having a few days outside busy in the garden. My favourite thing about this product is that it doesn't contain any harsh chemical nasties. Will continue to use this product for relief from mozzies and flies.

I first tried it one late night as I had a mozzie hanging around me while I was sleeping, I sprayed this around my face (not on my face) and the little thing came back but didn't come near me. Not only is it good for Mozzies but also flies. Other members of my family have used this too. Yes, it is a little strong when you first spray it and then the strong scent dissipates and the after smell is quite nice has like a eucalyptus smell. I will also be taking this away as my nephew attracts this little things and he gets worse bites. The teens took the bottle with them to the city for new years as they'd been getting bitten earlier that night. Everyone used the bottle and no one got any more bites. The odour is far less overpowering than I remember this brand to be so that's a pleasant improvement. It's plastic now which I guess can be recycled where cans would have been thrown in garbage. Would consider it strongly if I need repellant again.

I received this from Voxbox as a gift to try for review /incentivised. This product was perfect for the family and kids with the warm weather we are currently having. What I really liked was the 100% plant based active and it lasting up to 6 hours. Great not having to worry about reapplying when out enjoying the outdoors. It wasn't greasy at all and super easy to spray and apply. Everyone was happy and bug free! Would happily buy this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] This natural aerogard is amazing. It doesn’t smell bad like the others and also doesn’t leave any sticky gross residue on your skin. It works really well at deterring mosquitoes! I get eat alive by these little buggers and this works so well!

My daughter is allergic to mosquitoes and gets big welts from their bite, this came the day after she woke up with numerous on her body and so we thought what a perfect time to try out this product I received in my voxbox! At first I thought the scent was very potent and was a bit hesitant on reusing it after the first night but it worked perfectly and the next morning she woke with no fresh bites and had no itch on her previous ones. The scent kind of grows on you and I will definitely be keeping this on hand as a staple through summer!

The second point in its favour is the smell; I admit I wouldn't say I liked it at first; too strong, but incredible to say, the scent disappeared in very few seconds. I also really liked the fact that it is 100% plant-based active and that it contains lemon eucalyptus oil, a substance that is known to repel all types of insects. I spend a lot of time outside, and as we all know, Australia is one of those places where insect repellent is one of the essential items that must never be missing in our homes. Love this natural bug repellent! It doesn’t have that typical, nauseating scent that most bug repellents have… I also love that its not in an aerosol can (so much better for the environment) but most importantly… it works! I used it during an outdoor concert and Im usually a mosquito target. Luckily after using this, I had NO mosquito bites to report! It doesn’t leave too much of a greasy film on the skin either. Great product all round!
