This is a very luscious, viscose oil that has a strong herbal scent and deep brownish yellow colour. I love the smell, which is quite powerful for a facial skincare product, but it smells very natural and is in line with the Aesop brand. It feels really rich and moisturising on my combination and sensitive skin. I am prone to eczema but this did not cause any issues.

Quickly absorbed, immediate hydration and great base for moisturiser if you have very dry or mature dry skin. I use it underneath my moisturiser and it gives my skin a bright, plump skin. Aesop products are great but this is the best for dry skin.
I was very impressed with the damascan rose facial treatment. A few drops used in the evening make my dry and sensitive skin feel supple, hydrated and a lot brighter and fresher. The packaging is lovely and it smells really nice. It absorbs very quickly into the skin and doesnt feel oily for long.
This is oil is fragrant and thick. I would use about 2/3 drops and mix with camelia nut cream before putting on my face. Pat gently on the face until feel absorbed. The best thing is it doesnt leave oily feeling on the face and the skin feeld hydrated!

In the long term my skin has been significantly brighter.
This review (as every other review) is bias and subjective. I didn’t like it, and that is mainly because of the rose scent which I can tolerate if it’s subtle but I cannot stand when it’s very intense. I can’t talk about how good it is because I won’t use it again. Buy it if u like rose scent
I bought this and use it every other day. Feels oily but it's not. it leaves a nice glow. And lasts for ages. When I wear it people say it looks like I've been on holiday. Plus it actually gave me a bit more confidence
I enjoy using facial oils and this was a treat for me to add to my ever growing collection! It is heavier than some that I use but not too heavy. I use it generally at night or if my cheeks feel a little drier than normal. As I have combination skin, I tend to avoid the nose and chin but that is fine as I often mix and match facial oils depending on my needs at the time. No spots or greasiness, just a very nice luxury oil that does absorb reasonably quickly.
