Terraforming Mars is not a top rated game without reason. The theme is terrific, while the rules are typical of a Euro-management game offering multiple paths to victory. It's a terrific game with only these downsides: 1) The game takes time to play, perhaps three-four hours, so if you're an electronic air-head with no attention span it's not for you. 2) The cheap cardboard player board is sub-standard and easily bumped - creating chaos. 3) The game works when everyone knows the rules. Until you know the rules, it's a trial. Finally, there is now a Venus expansion pack - I can't wait to try it, too!

This is a pretty decent zombie survival deck-building game, though it feels a little like it started as a solitaire game and had cooperative play added in as an afterthought. Each player has an identical deck of cards to play with, and the player interaction is limited to attacking each other's zombies. The four characters feel like they aren't balanced to be equally capable, more like a difficulty adjustment.Still, there are enough scenarios to play through and the game can be extremely challenging, so you should get your money's worth.

This is a really good game. Challenging but a lot of fun.
Simple mechanics and challenging to play solo
Looks complicated, but quickly catches the imagination, and then your hooked. One of the best board games i have come across for a long time.
great game lots of actions to do, love it
