I’ve worn AGV helmets for years now. A couple of years go I tried the K6 and was impressed with its wide field of vision and quietness.The K6 S is better than the K6, though.I’m a medium in most helmet manufacturers sizing, and the AGV x3000 fits me in ML. The K6 in MS was too small, so I went with the ML which was just a little too big. At first I was put off by the idea that for the K6 S, AGV had eliminated the two sizes MS and ML and just gone to a M.The M is perfect for me, though.Finish is excellent, internal fabric is built to a price but not awful, it’s just not luxe. Field of view is very very good, hat is quiet and almost absurdly light. At this price it’s hard to believe you could do better.
Very beautiful helmet. Emergency pillows will make it difficult for you if you want to put intercom. It makes less noise than other AGV, the visor does not open enough high, it does not have a Sunvisor, very light, very comfortable and nice space for headphones.
It's the 3rd K6 helmet for me and I really like them that's why I'm buying because they very light very small by the size and it really matters even you have an expensive expensive one which is very much bigger by the size it means air pressure On your head on your neck Reduces the pleasure of riding and these are very safe helmets just like the others good ones
The AGV K6 I have is light, well made, and feature rich. The new K6S updated model is just as well made and full featured, but is also more aerodynamic and even lighter at under 1300 grams. I can feel the difference when riding in even less buffeting at speed on my naked bike. I also love the interior padding- just the right firm/soft balance, great soft texture, easy to remove and clean all pads, and despite the criticism about the visor, once you get the hang of opening and closing with the front center latch, it is easy and very positive to lock and unlock, and the visors, well a bit pricey due to the attachment mech, are flawless, thick, and provide a great wide angle view. It is light and comfortable and relatively easy for old hands to secure.
I have tried several top brands of helmets- Arai and Shoei included. While they are well made and comfortable, I find the K6S to be much lighter and more aerodynamic (stable) at speed. This combination, along with the safety ratings, makes AGV my choice. I considered the AGV RR race carbon, but the K6S for the street is more comfortable and ventilates better. Overall, the K6S can't be beat on the street.
I love the extreme lightweight of this helmet, the beautiful graphic, and the comfort inside against the skin and at speed with no buffeting and reasonable quiet.The vents work easily and do their job well, the liner is easy to remove and install and clean, the visor is clear and flawless and also gives a wide view. The overall form and function of this helmet is excellent and second to none. I have ridden Shoei and Arai, and this latest K6S is better for its lightness and aero comfort at speed. Fit sizing is perfect for my round oval 57cm head. I love this AGV helmet and bought 2.
