Awesome piece of kit - especially useful for keeping my 4x4 tyre pressures at optimal level. So easy to use, just preset the pressure and the tyres are automatically inflated and it's powerful and fast! Best DIY tyre inflator on the market. I am a Ryobi One+ system owner and No 1 fan. I've gradually changed all my cordless tools to the Ryobi 18v One+ brand so they all share the same Li-Ion battery. Makes so much sense - only one type of battery fits all the tools and just one charger to keep them all fully charged. Why no other tool manufacturer/ designer ever thought of that idea is astonishing - well done Ryobi - Top Marks!

There are plenty of cheaper, corded pumps on the market. However if you are too lazy to run out an extension lead (or your circumstances don't allow for it) then this is ideal if you already have some Ryobi One + tools. The standard/basic 1.3Ah battery is enough to inflate from flat two large Land Rover tyres which is quite impressive. It could probably pump from flat all four tyres of a normal car.

On initial tests performance was good blowing up a football. Works with all my batteries in the one plus range. Worked with nicad batteries also the lithium new batteries. Build quality is great as you would expect from Ryobi. Run time depends on battery capacity. As with the multi tools bigger battery more performance under load and not just about run time. I was less impressed with the quality of the blow hose as its a little thin and collapsed when warm. However the fitting does unscrew and you could replace with a better grade tube or even longer. Overall nice sized unit that could be carried around or put in the boot of the car.
If you are into your ryobi cordless tools I would recommend you get one of these little beauties, it's something you will definitely wonder why you didn't get sooner! amazing power paired to a 4 ah ryobi battery , could not try on lesser batteries as I only buy 4 ah or 5 ah genuine batteries, In all honesty it just works and does it with aplomb , the speed is quite astounding and it doesn't start doing the compressor Olympics like my old one jumping about all over the shop although that one is in for the high jump! great tool , great supplier too (Powertoolmate) ....
Purchased this pump to save time going to garage to inflate tyres ! What I hadn't noticed was the charger and battery were a separate purchase , So as convenient as it might be the cost was simply too much in fact for a pump was just ridiculous. For that kind of money it would need to walk out the house and inflate them for me . Who knows it could be the best inflator on the planet . But come on seriously . If the whole thing was reasonable then I would not hesitate to buy one and take a chance . The quality of the item looks good and looks well made . For now I'll spend a few pence a time at the garage , or even invest a few pounds in a foot pump . A bit or exercise won't harm .
Lightweight, compact and runs well on 4.0 Ah battery. Only criticism is that when inflation has finished I find it difficult to remove the nozzle from the tyre valve without losing air from the tyre. I will try to use a maintenance spray to see if this improves things.
Excellent product. It is definetly worth money payed for. Strongly recommended to have in car. Pretty fast charging. Can charge 4 tires in 5 minutes. Battry consumption is very small. With 1 battery 2.4 Ah all 4 tires may be recharged 2-3 times.
This is a great gadget to add to the ever growing and impressive list of one+ tools. Preset pressure to avoid over inflating bike tyres etc. Inflate AND deflate air beds easily.It is light enough and small enough to keep in a corner of the boot of the car so no more paying for air at the garage and trying to guess how accurate the gauge is!!I would recommend this for anyone who has bikes, wheel chairs, cars etc and already has batteries for the one+ system.
if you can bear the ribbing of other tradespeople then the ryobi range is for you. A quarter of the price of Festool and with a comprehensive range. Half the price of Makita with far superior cells. Not one for snobs but you won't have to worry constantly about things getting thieved. Both mass air and High pressure sides work well. Not completely trusting of the pressure readout but then you won't be using this all the time anyway. Keep it with your jump leads and never be caught out again.
