K&N Replacement Air Filters are drop-in replacements that will easily fit in your vehicle’s factory airbox. Compared to stock OEM air filters, K&N air filters are designed to provide better engine performance and are longer lasting. It delivers up to 50% more air flow, resulting in more horsepower and torque, as well as better throttle response. It uses several layers of cotton fiber filter media in combination with air filter oil to trap unwanted contaminants such as dirt and debris and keep it from getting into your engine. An epoxy coated aluminum mesh protects the filter media from damage. The frame is made out of durable urethane that should last the entire lifetime of your vehicle. In normal driving conditions, it can last up to 50,000 miles before it needs to be cleaned. To clean and service the filter, simply spray it with K&N Power Kleen Air Filter Cleaner to loosen and dissolve all the accumulated dirt and grime. It can then be washed with water. Once it’s dry, apply K&N’s Air Filter Oil prior to installation. K&N Replacement Air Filters come pre-oiled out of the box, so you’ll only need to apply new oil after it has been washed and cleaned. With regular maintenance and using only K&N cleaning products, your replacement filter can last up to 10 years or 1,000,000 miles.

My 2002 Nissan Sentra has been stalling since approximately 2005. After replacing about half the engine, it's started behaving better in the 5 or so years I've had it. But it's had constant relapses of stalling at low speeds or at stops, often temporarily "fixed" by reseating the air filter (finicky air system). After another recent bout of stalling that got me in a few sticky situations, I replaced my cheap filter with a K&N at the advice of the cashier.Put it in easy, cleaned the mass air flow sensor, and car's been stall-, shudder-, and suffocation-free for well over a month now. Longest it's gone without a single relapse, and longest I've gone without having bi-weekly near-death experiences thanks to my vengeful 204k-mile beater. I haven't had to touch my air ... Nice to have something long-lasting.Sorry, '02 Sentra. I ain't done with you until I save up enough to buy a Toyota.

I’ve put a K&N air filter in every daily driver I have owned over the last 31 years of driving. Better engine response, better gas mileage, low cost, super easy installation and life of the vehicle durability (with periodic cleaning) are why. On my current vehicle (2015 GTI S two door DSG) it has also given a slightly more aggressive intake sound. I live in VT and work and play at Killington resort so large slushy puddles, deep snow, heavy rainfalls and river like truck ruts are part of my daily commute. These factors make me wary of open element filter on a tube and cold air intake systems as I’d hate to kill my engine by hydro locking it. The K&N gives me 90% of the benefits with 0% of the downfalls. Also the installation took just under 2 minutes even though I ... I just got a 2022 Charger GT w/Hemi Orange package and wanted to add this filter. I had this same filter on my 2018 300 so I figured it would fit just fine since the filter boxes look exactly the same. So I chanced it and it fits perfect. So if you have a 2022 GT Charger you this fits perfect. My 300 saw an increase in MPG and a little bit of horsepower boost. I could tell right away. Haven't taken the Charger for a spin just yet but I'm sure I will notice it.

Honestly was looking into a cai but kept seeing reviews to just add a drop in filter if you aren’t looking to tune your stang just yet. So I went with the drop in filter and wasn’t disappointed. Little bit more boost, nothing major but I did notice my exhaust note a little louder which was a plus. I have a AWE Touring cat back, and It added some noise for sure. Cheap and easy upgrade for sure!
I noticed a significant improvement in response after installation and I can hear how much better my engine performs with it. I won't go back to conventional filters and literally this products ensure that you don't need to. The only gripe I have is that I had to go to another location to pick up my trucks filter and it was missing the essential sticker that is to be placed on your filter box cover. I had to call K&N for a replacement sticker. A little inconvenient, but still worth it for the health and performance of my engine.
Great item easy to install I think the system would be better with the whole kit instead of just the air filter but it's a bit pricey so I just have the air filter helps with gas mileage acceleration is noticeable better especially at mid-range between 40 and 100 mph Great sound remember to keep it clean and replace it after 3 to 5 years depending on use. I personally do not put the factory box housing back on I leave it open to the air but I do not remove the lower mounting box I just do not replace the lid. Great aftermarket product that doesn't void the warranty and has noticeable changes the only negative is that the price has gone up almost double to when I bought one several years ago but I guess it can be worth it. If you really enjoy a little extra pep in ... Been running this style of filter on my cars & bike now for years & would never go back. There is a claimed performance advantage but honestly I've never really noticed a difference one way or the other, however the filtration is superb. Where these excel (for me at least) is the savings over time. OK, price is 3 times a paper filter but these last a lifetime, literally. My last car ran one for 780,000 km & filter was still like new. Only ongoing cost is the spray on oil to coat it when you clean it but a $20 can lasts 8 - 10 cleans. Only down side is it adds 1/2 hour to servicing (3minutes to clean, 20 minutes to dry, 2 minutes to oil) but the savings are well worth it. Highly recommend these things.
The results after installing this filter are defiantly noticeable. Defiantly noticed there was an increase in throttle response as others have stated. I also Noticed a tone change in the exhaust on cold start up and while driving. I also noticed a slight boost in gas mileage after installing this filter on the GT/CS. Definitely worth the every penny spent. Wasn't really expecting much of a change but surprisingly there was a decent change in my opinion. Crazy what just swapping the OEM Filter for an Aftermarket will do. Highly suggest for a Sub $100 mod.
I ordered the K&N filter to see if it would give my Ecoboost a little more zip. Well, it surely did. Without question it runs faster and has more jump. While I can't specifically say how much horsepower it added there is no doubt that I can fell the difference before and after. I highly recommend this product as It took me less than three minutes to install. It is constructed well and fits perfectly. I'm no mechanic so be assured that you will have no issue in replacing your current filter with this one!
I bought this for my newly purchased RAM Rebel. The filter seems to be well built and fit perfectly. I have not seen any better MPG with this filter. I can see this product lasting for a long time. I also have bought one of these filters for an 07 Dodge ram 1500 and that truck has seen a lot of dirt roads and the filter is still good as new. The filter for the 07 is at least 10 years old.
