I have been using Airscape canisters for some time. I recently purchased the 250gram size in ceramic. My coffee purchasing is now almost always 250gram lots to keep things fresh. These canisters are bullet proof & work every time. I palmed off my 500 gram ones to the kids & intend obtaining another 2 ceramic ones as I like to keep a few different coffees on hand.

I am very impressed with Alternative Brewing and the product. I bought the Airscape, Ceramic for a Father's Day present for my husband and paid for express shipping as I was running late. I received the product the next day (not in the same state) and my husband loves it. We have fresh coffee beans every time now and it looks great on our kitchen bench. Very happy customers :-)

The jar I receive as an oval shape, making it a bit more tricky to properly use. However, the jar does it job once you get used to this little kink. I would recommend using the stainless steel version, as the quality will most likely be more uniform.

I wish there was a middle size between this and the larger one. The small size doesn’t exactly hold a whole bag of coffee from idrinkcoffee and the large size will but then there would be extra room. Larger size won’t hold two bags. However, aside from that it appears to be keeping air out, in the week or so I’ve had it the beans seem better than my old “air tight” container and I really do like the look of the ceramic and bamboo. I probably will buy more but trying to decide if I should just get the larger size.
Not crazy about the logo at the bottom, but it’s only on one side and can be rotated to the back. There are 2 lids to open. The inner airscape lid works well and is easy to operate. The wooden outer lid is thinner than expected and doesn’t always sit centered. It’s a little difficult to remove with one hand. I feel like it should be thicker and have a little bit of a lip to grab onto. I removed the gasket/seal and let it sit loosely on top. This works better for me and the inner lid is the one that creates the actual seal, so it works fine like this.
I've been looking for an item like this for awhile. I love how fresh it keeps coffee. Since I currently don't use whole beans, I've been putting in ground coffee. It can hold just under two pounds of ground coffee. I'm never concerned about the coffee going stale since you press the air out of this container. It seals the grinds really well. It's sleek styling is a bonus, and looks great on my counter. If you love coffee, you'll love keeping it in Airscape Ceramic Kitchen Canisters to store it in. I do plan on going back to whole beans as soon as I get another burr grinder :)
This canister is well designed. The inner lid helps to keep my beans fresh. The quality of this product is very good. After reading some other reviews, I decide to buy this size instead of the larger one. It is the right size for me, keeps one bag of beans. Overall speaking, it's beyond my expectation.

The paint finish on this product looks bad, i ordered 2 white ones and they both look awfull. The paint looks like it is runny in some spots. For that price i was expecting more. I wrote to airscape, never heard from them.Shipping and cs from idrinkcoffee was really good though.
32oz sounds big enough to store a partial bag of beans but I wish I got a bigger size. Still I bought 3 and use them all. It comes with a bag for overflow coffee beans which I don't really understand what to do with it. I do feel it's worth the money but next time I'll size up.
