Airscape Classic 7in Coffee Canister

The canisters are great for storing coffee I was able to maintain the same flavor for coffee for multiple weeks in a row and I did not have to do anything just to make sure that the coffee beans are leveled and seal it it. The rubber on the bottom is great and makes it so that the canisters are stable on various surfaces, I find the whole system to be sturdy and very easy to use ( I do find the product to be suitable even for elderly people) and the plastic lid is sturdy. I really get the job done and is hassle free. I recommend this product fully

Been using this daily for quite some time now

Will enjoy the aroma every morning when you unseal the vacuum and get that freshly opened can of coffee aroma? Yes, you will. Will you stand in your kitchen holding the inner seal when preparing coffee wondering where to place it so you won’t get coffee grounds all over your counter? Yes, you will. A nice canister, I use it for storing Illy coffee after cutting my hand on the original can. This canister has a large diameter and no sharp edges. I can easily place my Mokapot coffee funnel inside the canister to fill it. An 8.8 oz can of coffee fills this canister about 1/4 full. Wipes clean easily, contemporary style and keeps coffee fresh!

Coffee Bean Storage

I have purchased two of these canisters for coffee storage. I think they are helpful in keeping the beans fresh. The rubber ring on the airtight black lid part is actually slipping out of place on both canisters after only a few weeks of use, I'm basically opening and closing the canisters once daily or every few days depending on which bean I want to brew to make the coffee. I'm not sure if that happens on most or the two I purchased have a defect. I still think the inner closure is helping to keep the air out and the beans seem fresh. However, I am surprised the rubber ring is coming out of place with very little use since the Airscape products have great reviews.

Does the job

Seems to keep my coffee fresh. Looks good enough. Sticker leaves residue which is annoying. Does spill a little coffee when you pull up the air tight cover, so have to do over paper towel on counter or quick wipe with wet sponge after. Couldn't find anything better though, and this does the job.

Freshness at its best

My husband read about the Airscape Canister and requested one. I bought him one for Christmas & one for our son-in-law. They store their coffee in it and have been very happy with the results. Keeps their coffee fresh. I then bought one for tea bags & brown sugar and am pleased with how it locks in the freshness. My brown sugar stays soft. Love it!

Great way to store your coffee beans

Really like this canister. I purchased it for my office coffee station since I take a little longer to use a full bag of coffee there vs. my home. So I wanted to keep the beans fresh. The air inside the canister is pushed out each time you close the inner lid and it adjusts to the volume of the beans inside to minimize air pockets. Nice design! Judging from the smell of the beans that whooshes out each time I close it, this little canister does just what it claims. I'm very pleased with it and would buy it again.

I like this gizmo

I don't normally take the time to write reviews but this thing is really perfect. Vacuum canisters tend to loose their seal and then leaves a big dead-air space above the beans. This just pushes all the air out and simply lowers the air volume. Last cup of coffee really tastes just as good as the first cup. Had none of the issues others complained about.

Ideal storage for dry goods

I've had 3 of these canisters for about a year now. I use one of them to store coffee and 2 for different flours. The coffee canister is opened and closed at least once every day and it has stood up well to everyday use. The 64oz canister is a good size for every day handling, fits well in the kitchen cabinet and using about 4-6 scoops of coffee a day, I don't have to refill it too often. However, I must add that it is not big enough to exclude the use of a separate larger coffee container to reduce the number of grocery store trips to buy coffee.The other two canisters are used less often but seem to have kept the flours fresh. I have not had a problem with the smell of coffee leaking into my cabinet and the lids feel fairly tight when they are closed.I would love to store all my dry goods - beans, rice and other flours - in these, but the cost is prohibitive.The smaller 32oz canisters seem too small to be worth the price, especially considering that the thickness of the lids reduces the volume available for storage considerably.The packaging leaves something to be desired. All 3 canisters arrived with the inner lid inverted and at the bottom of the canister. That means nothing to pull the lid out with. I had to wedge a knife in and wrestle with it a bit to get the lid out, which could have cut the edges of the lid.The steel look is quite appealing and would go well with the rest of the stainless steel stuff in my kitchen if I would leave it out on the counter rather than in the cabinet.

I just purchased two Airscape 1lbs. stainless containers.They arrived very quickly. They arrived in recyclable packaging. They look amazing. They feel Amazing. They should last a long time!One recommendation, if you're planning on using one of these for coffee I would recommend that search ECS coffee for "Cafe Culture Coffee Scoop, 15 ml" and add it to your order if you want to store your scoop with your coffee.One downside is that you will want to buy more of these containers for your rice, brown sugar, flour etc.All in all I love these storage containers..

Sleek & Easy to Use

I just bought this and am so glad I did. I was looking for a way to store coffee grounds to maintain their freshness and taste. Not only has this significantly improved my coffee storage, it is SO much easier to use than expected and it looks SO good! I’m never going back to leaving my coffee bags out clipped shut :) So worth it!
