I bought this because I needed something quick and this is the only option with JL . They are good in a way that they fit no matter what's your cot size, but they don't look nice, they are thin mesh like fabric on a very thin sponge layer. No matter how you try to adjust them they still look un attractive to me. I will return them. I wish JL have more options

This was bought to go on an older smaller cot I had for my children, now used for grandchildren. It makes the cot look cosy, but not sure it actually does anything else. Quite fiddly to get the Velcro tight enough and if it was in everyday use, I think would be a bit saggy, even though we have tightened several times. I bought as the new baby looked very small in it and this seemed to make the space look smaller. I had seen them for sale before baby born. But not sure I could say they are a definite must buy.

I use this for my daughter's crib. Very handy in preventing her from putting her arms and legs in between the crib bars but also breathable to reduce the risk of suffocation.
These cot bumpers are good in that they're "breathable" and prevent babies limbs going through the bars of the cot. However, they could be easier to attach as the Velcro sticks where you don't want it to, and it's tricky to straighten the bumpers out. Having the option of printed patterns would be nice too!
I've bought these for both my granddaughters & they have given peace of mind on both occasions. No worries of the girls getting arms & legs caught between bars while in their cribs/cots! The biggest plus is they are made of mesh so breathable, allaying any concerns about the baby pushing face into bumper. My son & daughter in law love them.
Great product, has really helped our baby transfer from the enclosed crib to the more open cot. At first she would throw her arms through the bars and when she moved in her sleep it would wake her up. This product has stopped that happening.The material is nice and soft so no worries about her rubbing her hands against it and because it's made of mesh fabric it's also very breathable (just in case she puts her face against it).Fastens with strong elastic (she hasn't pulled it off yet, despite trying) so there are no ties to worry about. They also wash well and don't lose their shape.
It does sort of protect the baby's head, but not as well as a traditional bumper, as it is much thinner. I do find it a bit narrow, when my 8 month old sits up, the bumper is below her head, so if she falls, it will not protect her head. My daughter leans on this bumper to try and get up, it bends when she does that, would be nice if it was firmer, as this makes it easier for my daughter to slip and bump her head on the unprotected part of the railing, having that said, the bumpers velcro never comes off though. I used this for a 2 sided cot, thinking maybe I could put the 2 smaller wraps on the non railing sides, but that is not possible, so you do have to get traditional bumpers for those 2 sides/corners.
Bought this for our cot which is open bars all the way round (Rachel cotbed from John Lewis) The only annoying thing is that it doesn't cover the corners so the toys and dummies still fall out there. I guess you could buy two packs and use the long section from each but that would be a bit of a waste of money. The sides do slide down a bit and baby loves to kick at them but I still like this product because it's more breathable than cot bumpers. Would be nice if they came in different colours/designs too.
Useful to have on the cot as Baby rolls around and would bump head on the sides. So this softens the bumps as there is a bit of padding in it. Also, there's less chance for the dummy to end up on the floor at night. Material is of good quality. Velcro good too.
