My 7 year old son was so excited when he saw this! He loved that he could battle another guy and the fact its "head falls of" when he loses. I like that the head and guy all stays attached and can just be popped back into a full guy easily. It saves us from losing peoces. This game was fun and held my sons attention for hours. We went through the panflet that came woth it and picked out all the guys he couldn't wait to get. The battle area is a really nice and durable set up. It's easy to pop the guys on and off and the guys are pretty well made.

My son was super excited to try out this toy! Honestly it reminded me of an upgraded version of the toy we had in the 80s that was similar to this so I was siked to share a similar toy with my son. This toy is perfect for your child's next play date. With fun noises and effects it will keep them busy for hours. I love how easy this toy is to pack up for a long car ride or for a play date at a friends house. This toy will provide hours of fun. I highly recommend it!

My Kids (6 and 9) saved up their money for this toy. They had lots of fun with it as their first Akedo toy. The boxing bag meant for “training” is not all that useful and comes off easily making it easy to loose. And I wish I knew beforehand that the controllers in this set do snap off of the arena however they are not appropriate to use on their own without the arena unfortunately so we need to buy other sets that come with the controllers to play without the arena.

My 7 year old son has had a blast playing with the Akedo battle set. It may look small but it's certain to keep kids entertained for hours. He loves the sound effects from the battle arena; even a chicken, goat and fart sound is thrown in to the mix, which my son found hilarious! It comes with batteries included so my son could play with it straight away, no waiting around. There's an awesome 35 sound effects and included are 2 figures; Turbo Chux Lee and Screenshot. I'll definitely be purchasing more warriors so there'll be more battles to follow!
This is like Rock Em Sock Em, but with a modern twist. You can battle each others' robots with cool sound effects and backgrounds. You can battle another player, or you can train yourself against the battle bag; this is a nice feature so that you can interact with the toy solo or with someone else. This Battle Arena comes with two warriors, but to truly enjoy this toy you would want to purchase more warrior packs so you have options to swap out the characters you are using to fight (which is an added expense).
My son is obsessed with this, and when I say obsessed I mean he hasn't left it alone in the few days he's had it! It's constantly going - I think he may run the batteries out soon!It's really easy to get it set up to play and he loves the characters. There's also a fart noise mixed in with the sounds and as an 8 year old boy, this produces mountains of giggles!It comes with a punching bag accessory too - so he spends a while "training" his fighters before sending them into the ring!It's really well made - sturdy and holds up well against my not-so-gentle 8 year old! We can't wait to get some more characters to go with it and set up a full battle!

I got this for my 7-year-old son and he is enjoying it so far. He likes that you can change out the figurines to right different characters and it is also very cool that you can collect them. The arena does little sounds when the lever is moved to give it that "fighting in an arena feel" :D and it is so cool. The only issue that I see is that the awesome part of being able to move the figures back and forth could also be the drawback. Kids at that age tend to get frustrated easily and when played with other kids, the motion of being able to stay back or out of the arena will frustrate the opponent.
