As an Australian living in the United States and heading back home soon for some time to the Northern Territory, this hat will provide the sun protection in a hot barren landscape.Made the mistake of getting one too small and now my American girlfriend will rocking my old hat which I gave to her for the same trip to Oz.Needless to say, she fell in love with it and is clinging on to it for dear life.If you're going to use it the way it was intended, I would recommend the internal hat liner should be removed for more breathability.

Beyond any doubt, The Territory is the biggest, boldest hat in my collection. This is my fifth Akubra but the first I purchased from David Morgan. The hat is impressive in both size and style.It really looks great in Santone Fawn - Akubra colour selection can be a leap of faith but I am quite pleased.A hat of character and quality and well worth the price.The purchase was flawless, the delivery rapid and without fault.I highly recommend David Morgan as an exceptional retailer of my favourite hats.Great hat, great service.Thanks from a new and satisfied customer.

I am a Connecticut fly fishing guide and this hat offers excellent protection from the sun and rain. It has kept me dry during heavy rains and downpours and it can withstand a good wind without blowing off. Top quality manufacturing and material.

This is my second , after many years , my first Territory Hat , has become a work hat , with air conditioning 👍.So now I have my “work hat , “and this new territory is my good, “ summer hat . “And my “Riverina in Loden , “is my “winter hat , “ being a little “ thicker and heavier , warmer . “Fully recommend Akubra Hats , they are legendary .Every Aussie Man , needs a good pair of boots , a good belt , a good knife , and a good hat .!You just can’t beat , an “Akubra Hat “, for being comfortable and reliable .Don’t go out bush , without one !
Hat was a bit small & tight, but that's on me ordering not David Morgan. Got a hat stretcher & got it where I needed. I accidentally ordered the same hat twice, again on me not DM. Contacted sales & they cancelled 2nd hat right away. I love the Akubra Australian hats over traditional American cowboy hats. This hat should last a lifetime they are made great!
I got the hat and I ordered the wrong size. They promptly sent me a replacement and didn't charge me anything extra even though it was my fault. The customer service team is fantastic and will answer any question you have, no matter how stupid it may be.The hat is comfortable and needs to get broken in, but beyond that, perfect. Stiff brim and sides, I can't wait to wear it in the rain. Not only would I buy this again, but I am planning on getting another style already, even though I think this is going to be my "forever hat".
I really like this hat! The wider than average brim takes a little getting used to. I ordered the sand and I'm not one bit disappointed. color I had one-eighth of an inch trimmed to clear my line of sight. I wear it outdoors and out on the town. I've had many people comment on how good ot looks. I removed the liner because it was a bit too warm. I'm totally satisfied with thus purchase and it us everything I expect.
I've worn my first Territory primarily as an outside work hat for years and still have years of wear left.I take reasonable care of it but it's seen heavy use, so I've ordered this second one for casual wear.The large brim is serious sun protection, and there's no style comparison with any other hat.Thanks D.M. for a good quality hat and excellent service.Sincerely,Larry Lyne
I purchased the hat as a replacement to at least a half dozen other styles of hat to use when fly fishing. Over nearly 4 decades on the water, my opinions of what a hat needs to be have evolved to what I saw in the Territory. When I received the hat, I was simply impressed by the color and especially care that went into making it. The tooled leather band, attention to the lining and stiffness of the brim. All were exceptional, I wish this hat had come into my fishing life sooner.
This is a wonderful Akubra hat. It is every bit as comfortable as my Stetsons and has the advantage of a wider brim to block the sun & rain. It is comfortable, stylish and I like the Australian style. It is great for casual wear and working outside on the farm. The fit is true to size and with a chin strap it stays put in the wind. The only downside is the light color that I really like & hesitate to wear in dirty, dusty conditions to keep it looking new, which of course will subside over time. I would definitely buy this again if I needed to replace it.
