Nicer than I thought it would be, texture and weight. This was a gift for someone who was very pleased with it. Came in a box unused.

I must preface this review by saying that I've owned this item in the color red for many years and have been very happy with the appearance and quality. (Not purchased from Lumens, BTW.) However, I was very disappointed to have purchased from Lumens the color they listed as "BLACK," which upon arrival turned out to be GREY. I then found that the manufacturer, Alessi, calls this color "ANTHRACITE" -- not "BLACK." (Alessi does not use cutesy nicknames for their colors of this bottle opener -- the other colors of this item are "RED" "BLUE" etc.) Had this been some other color, I could see there being some variation in the shade -- but there is only one shade of black. Optically a highlight. A must in any kitchen!
Wasn't sure what to expect with this bottle opener but when it arrived I thought it was pretty cool looking. It is sturdy and definitely does the job. Super easy to use. Love the teal color.
