Alessi Pulcina MDL02/3BFM Designer Espresso Coffee Maker, PA Handle and Knob, Cast Aluminium for Induction Hobs, 3 Cups, Black

Pulcina Coffeepot, designed by Michele de Lucchi for Alessi in 2015, is an icon of design and innovation.Made of die-cast aluminum, with handle and knob available in black or red, this coffee maker combines style and performance, offering a new experience for coffee lovers. Pulcina takes advantage of technology developed by illycaffè, integrated with Alessi's design expertise, to improve the efficiency of the traditional moka pot. Inside, an innovative system interrupts brewing at the ideal time, avoiding the so-called strombolian phase, which can cause a bitter aftertaste. This expedient ensures a coffee with an intense and balanced aroma, enhancing its organoleptic qualities. The distinctive V-shaped spout, inspired by a chick's beak, is designed to pour coffee precisely, avoiding drips. In addition, the Pulcina features a magnetic steel bottom that makes it compatible with induction cooktops as well, offering greater versatility in use. With a distinctive design and advanced technical solutions, Alessi's Pulcina coffee maker redefines the coffee ritual, transforming it into a superior experience that uniquely combines tradition and innovation.
