When put together there are gaps in the bottom slats of wood (I just taped over these gaps as I don't want bugs or moisture getting in. Using it outside for storage.) After a week, the paint already started peeling off. So not built to be outside. Sad cause it looks really nice.

The gas strut to hold the lid open wouldn't work but that's ok I don't really need it to prop open anyway. Love this as a seat and great outdoor storage! (Cushion purchased separately)

This is an absolute shocker. Cheap, chipped, wonky and the panels provided are I'll fitting.The paint is peeling off and leaving white marks on my black top. the wood is cheap.Really disappointed actually. $179 for something that feels like it's from a $2 shop.
Poorly finished surface. Feels like it needs more varnish or oil. You get what you pay for but this was cheap material, paid too much. Not shopping here again.
Exactly what I wanted and expected. Easily put together, attractive and sturdy enough for purpose. Delivery was quick and straight to my front door. Very pleased.
The shoe bench is solid ,looks very nice and fits our purpose. The paintwork was patchy and had orange marks on it so I gave it 3 more coats of paint. The instructions for the strut were confusing. The paper instructions said put it in one way but the diagram on the plastic bag it was in ,showed the opposite way up. I tried both ways but the strut mechanism isn't strong enough to hold the very solid lid up. When attaching the lid the screw holes had not been bored so it was difficult to line the hinges up and position on the box and screw the holes and the screws in at the same time. Made it a 2 man job when it didn't need to be and took much longer to put together than it should have.
Looks great and fairly strong. Instructions were ok, need 2 people to put together. Love it now and it fits all our swimming towels in it outside.
Exactly what I wanted. This is great value for money, sturdy and exactly what I needed to clean up our front veranda. Great storage for our shoes and a convenient seat to sit on
Poorly made and finished. Pieces don’t line up, crooked and splintered rough wood. Not worth the price.
