This is such a unique perfume. It was one of those scents I smelt on someone else and had to ask them what they were wearing! It’s a dark, warm sexy fragrance. It’s a warm floral with notes of Jasmine, Cashmerean Wood White Amber. It’s a strong scent so a little goes a long way. I would definitely recommend trying it on your skin as a sample first as it does really tend to change based on your skins PH levels. It’s expensive but long lasting. I don’t find I have to reapply this fragrance. I usually wear it in the winter months as it’s a warm bold fragrance. If you’ve never smelt this before definitely do yourself a favour and try it! It’s a gorgeous perfume.

I've never smelled this out in the wild LOL. This is an extremely polarizing scent (like several Mugler releases, Angel, Womanity) and you either live in the Alien camp or you don't. Supposedly this has suffered a reformulation and has lost much of it's personality in the reformulated batches. I have an old bottle and a backup. This is hard to describe. Some people say this smells like grape juice and I get that too. This is jasmine and amber but don't expect the jasmine in this to smell like other jasmine scents. This is an extremely synthetic jasmine but it works. This is sweet and strong!!!

Boy was I naive. EVen though I had been forewarned by EVERY REVIEW OUT THERE, it is a mixture between unique, sweet, odiferous, and feminine in its initial contact with your skin. It is such a unique fragrance it may catch you off guard when you first spray it. While I like the opening and the end, the middle the song has some uniquely irritating notes. When I first reviewed this perfume, I assumed it was just one note that I could smell. But after trying this scent multiple times (yes, I am a glutton for punishment when it comes to fragrance) I came to realize that it isn’t a singular scent profile that creates that malodorous tension in the middle, but the combination of the unique notes in the perfume and their interaction with my body Chemistry. This odd note shows up around the 30 minute mark and while I still find it unappealing, on me, no one else smells what I do. I have asked family and friends if they could smell this off note and they couldn’t. In fact, so,me said it was slightly sweet, akin to vanilla. Even though the notes are Jasmine Sambac, Cashmere, and Sweet Amber Accord, i have never had a negative reaction when wearing those notes, so there has to be more to the story than what they list on their website. Because I have tried this scent so many times trying to figure out that middle, I don’t find it as unappealing as I did a few years back during my maiden voyage. However, I will admit I’m still not a fan of what my nose smells during that part of the Alien song. Thankfully the odd note doesn’t last forever. Within a couple hours it is has disappeared and is a pleasant smell once again. The dry down is by far my favorite part of Alien. It’s definitely different than your average dry down, but neither is it overwhelming like the beginning and middle. It has a sweet dry down with a hint of earthiness about it. While I believe you can wear fragrance whenever the heck you want, I really like Alien in the winter. It is a great scent that can transition from day to night in the colder weather without becoming unbearably heavy. The unique notes hold up to the cold air, which is the most important thing when looking for a scent to wear in the winter. Does the cold air seem to take a great fragrance and zap it right into oblivion? It is a darker scent that is quite exotic due to the brilliant play within the composition itself. Alien lasts about six hours on me before I feel I am pushing the limit of the scent. I think it would be better to refresh it at about the four to five hour mark, especially if you are wearing this out for the evening. While I swore I would never buy another travel spray of Alien, I have and I will continue to do so (but I should graduate up to a full size just to save money, at the very least), because it is so very unique and I want to understand it better than i, the amateur fragrance junkie, really can. Funny enough, I own a few Alien flankers, all purchased to better understand the Queen Bee, herself. Will I ever? I really don’t know, but I’m not going to give up trying. In the meantime, man do I smell good.

This scent is exotic and incredibly unique. It smells in the only way I can describe it as high fashion, it is very chic. It is a warm woodsy scent that has a sweet top note of jasmine. I bought this for my sister as a signature scent for her senior prom. This scent made her feel confident and glamorous even if she is just heading to the store she says every time she wears it she feels all dressed up. I recommend this to anyone who has a rebel in their life or who is looking to make a statement on a first date. This is one unforgettable scent. I gave it three stars because I have more floral tastes in fragrance but I will still wear it from time to time

I love the lotion and will eventually buy the spray. Pricey!

Its a waste of money for me to try something new because nothing stays on my skin and never smells like the ones I smell on others. This Alien lotion actually has a nice smell (I love it) and it still smelled good on me the next morning. No cologne or parfum has ever still had a smell the next day and usually doesn't even smell or linger right after I spray it on. Sometimes I spray again after I walk away because I can't smell it. Our oldest son who was 17 yrs. old almost 18, drowned at the Lake of the Ozarks. My husband taught our son how to fly and he already had his license at that time. He had a scholarship to a Christian College and he drowned on the 4th of July and college would have started in Aug.1971. That nearly killed me when he died. It was harder on me when I lost the son than it has been losing my husband because he was just starting college with his whole life in front of him..Trust me you don't want to lose either a child or spouse, but the child was the worst. My husband had been confined to a wheel chair for a little over a yr. I was his only caregiver and I endlessly took care of him and did everything to make his life easier while suffering with chronic pain in my back. The pain never has stopped for about 20 yrs. now. Surgery would not help my pain I was told. My point is that most colognes don't stay with me at all. Be happy that you can smell them!!

Love, need refill!

I got this using my points and was excited about that and not sure if I'd like it as I am a 90s teen that had been using B&BW for as long as I remember hahaha. But I wanted something more sophisticated and this was perfect for what I was going for. It makes me feel sexy and alluring and I love it so much, the problem is the scent fades SO quickly. Which is odd for such a strong scent. So my bottle is almost gone and I want the refill but it's been out forever. I could just get the regular bottle but I don't make sense. So I purchased a small bottle of Angel Nova to check out in the meantime which I also really like a lot. It's a lot sweeter but the scent seems to last a lot longer with a lot less sprays. Anyway please get the refill back!!!

Mature scent

This is a very mature scent. If I could imagine what Kris Jenner smells like, I think she would smell like this. Lol. It’s a nice scent, but it’s not overwhelmingly feminine. If you enjoy feminine sense that are slightly, Floral, slightly sweet, slightly fruity, then this will not be for you. This is definitely a mature sent that has a musky undertone with a woods the element, it is still a nice sent, but again it is not overly feminine and it is a bit old lady Ash, in a slightly good way, if that makes sense, I know that sounds weird, but it reminds me of something a fancy old lady when we’re not something that a middle-aged or even young woman would wear
