Its basically like playing the James Cameron Aliens movie if Lt Gorman wasnt incompetent!Its hard to put into words the joy and tension of sneaking across the maps, threading your way between hives, using your sentry guns and mines for overlapping fields of fire and protecting your rear.Check those corners...... and secure that #### hudson! This is a game of love and passion. Unlike other recent Alien games, this one right down to the minute detail is just outstanding. The devs released a game that was playable right out the door, they're some minor bugs here and there but for the most part it works. The set up to bring in all the world assets(enviroments) from the movies in a great way, Alien, Aliens, Alien 3 they brought all that together in an way that it feels natural, the story is okay, The gameplay is fantastic and really immerses you into that world. Overall if you're an Aliens fan then this game certainly delivers on that.

The tense atmosphere and strategic combat against xenomorphs had me on the edge of my seat. Managing resources and surviving the relentless alien threats adds a real challenge. If you enjoy intense survival horror and tactical gameplay, this game is a gripping experience you won't want to miss
Fantastic game, utterly atmospheric, wicked fun to play, and gorgeous to boot. It had such a good story that expanded the Aliens mythos even more, whilst still feeling like a perfect extension of the original trilogy of films.Genuinely this is the best Aliens title for a long, long time.
My first time playing this type of game. Frustrating at first, cause there's alot of practice that you have to do get controls down pact. Turned to YouTube, which helped me bunches & made the game much more enjoyable. Game creates great tension, suspense, & is pretty scary. I highly recommend if you like the genre or the type of gameplay. And for $40, pretty good deal.
While on the surface it appears just an XCOM clone, it actually plays rather differently with the squad acting as a single unit and the gameplay being in real time as opposed to turn based. A good mix of stealth and action although the stealth often feels unfair and you always end up shooting your way through anyway. The atmosphere and the sound design are top notch with the visuals looking pretty good too. Story is interesting enough but it's nothing too special. Just in terms of gameplay and immersion alone, I'd say it's a pretty easy recommendation if you're either a fan of the genre or a fan of the Alien IP. Although I think it's a solid game whether you're an Alien fan or not, I'd say perhaps just wait for it to come down in price a little so that you can feel more confident that you'll get your moneys worth. So yes, I say get it but a fair price point in my opinion is anything below $45 just because all though it's great, it still isn't quite up there with XCOM
Product arrived in good condition. The game seems pretty interesting/cool so far. Ive been an Alien & Predator fan since I was like 13 yrs old So this was a must in terms of another purchase. Graphics are good. Cinema FMV graphics/rendering are fair , but this game seems like it will have a pretty good & more in depth storyline over Aliens: Fireteam in my opinion.. Overall thumbs up
I'm a huge fan of the Alien universe and this game was a freah take. I don't usually play RTS games but i kept hearung this game was great and i just got a PS5 so i figured what better time than now. It crashed, A LOT. It crashed as the screen went black at the very end end,from the final cutscene to the creduts. Like come on. Also, best buys app to review is rough huh? I cant see what im typing so i apologize for any errors. Whatever it is this doesnt seem to autocorrect anything. Maybe try this game on Steam or Xbox.
This game makes me feel stoked to have found a new kind of game to play that I enjoi. Its pretty challenging, even on easy but its fun. I hope other games of this nature come to frutition. I give it 4 stars because it does bug out more often than not. All it takes is a quick reboot and you're back in it. I got it on sale but it's worth full price imo
