It has settings of 10', 20' and 30' range. It also runs off of 6 "C" batteries not just electricity. The 2 inch tennis balls are slightly big for my larger size Chihuahuas but do work. They're probably too large though for very small breeds in my opinion. Comes with 3 balls but extra can be ordered from AFP item #3198.

What a great idea. An automatic ball thrower for small and medium sized dogs. Right out of the box it was easy to set up. Just plug it in, flip the switch located on the bottom of the unit and choose the distance you want the ball thrown. Three options — 10, 20, or 30 feet. And best of all you can insert six C batteries for outdoor use, eliminating the need for the electric hookup. This is great for folks (young or old) who are not able to toss ball after ball for their energetic furry friends. And best of all, if your furry friend is intelligent enough, you could train him to drop in the ball and entertain himself while you are at work. If left alone with the ball thrower, I would suggest only using the battery option to avoid any problems with the electric cord. ... MoreWhat a great idea. It may be for medium size dogs, but our black lab thinks it’s pretty great. It’s really a fantastic idea and I’d suggest you give the All for Paws Interactives Hyper Fetch Mini a try. I’m pretty sure you and your furry friend will have a blast with this automatic ball thrower!

The battery option is amazing for going to the park, and surprisingly lasts for hours. The only issues I have found is once the balls start to get dirty/wet they do not shoot out as well or as far. Also make sure the dog stays clear of the device and is not looking down the launcher to avoid injury. It would also be nice if it had an option to change it to manual. So you could load multiple in and shoot them out to be used for multiple dogs.Pros- Great distance, Dogs can play by themselves, can be used with Batteries or included power cable,CONS- shoots hard so keep pups away from shooter, no manual option for multiple load and shoot on demand, balls do not shoot as well when wet or dirty.

My dogs love this ball launcher from all for paws. I have a medium size dog that is about 17 pounds and a small dog that is about 7 pounds and they both love this machine. I have the Hyper Fetch Mini size which comes ready to go with three tennis balls. This was super simple to set up out of the box, I just plugged it in and placed the tennis balls into the machine and then I selected the range on which the machine would shoot the balls out. There are three different ranges on the back of the machine, you can choose, 10,20, or 30 feet once selected you place the ball in the top and once it senses it the machine shoots out the tennis ball. You can load more than one ball at a time, I put all three balls in and about every five seconds it shoots out another one. My ... MoreMy dogs love this ball launcher from all for paws. I would highly recommend this product if your dogs like to play catch, it is endless amount of fun for them. This is a great quality product that will stand the test of time.

This is seriously for TINY dogs. These mini tennis balls are so small one of my dogs could fit all three in her mouth, which is hilarious but also quite dangerous. The machine is a little loud when loading up a ball which was a lil scary for my pups. They didn't understand what was going on at first and were apprehensive to approaching it. The launch with this product is amazing though. It has three distance options and it really does toss them well!! If you can get your dog used to this, its a great toy to help get out some extra energy!!! I recommend this, but also recommend that you desensitize your pets to it first. AND FOR LITTLE DOGGIES ONLY

This is a review for afp’s (all for paws) interactives mini Hyperfetch automatic ball launcher machine. It comes with an adapter and three mini two inch tennis balls. The adapter is a great option for those who do not want to use batteries. It takes six batteries to run it. The adapter might need to be plugged into an extension cord to use. The adapter cord is too short to reach some flat surfaces. The three tennis balls are a fun size for dogs and cats alike. They should not be put in the launcher if too damp or soiled. After placing the ball in the launcher, there is a five second delay. The sensor detects the ball and a high-pitched noise increases throughout the five second delay as it prepares for launch. This noise gets the attention of everything in the house. While some are curious, some are actually scared. It is the same for the launch itself. Some run for the ball, and some run from the ball.I do recommend afp’s interactives mini Hyperfetch automatic ball launcher machine. It is easy enough to use so that makes it worth it for the pets that do enjoy it. The machine seems durable enough to last with proper use.

I have a Doberman and a Mini Aussie. My Doberman absolutely loves this! My Mini Aussie loves it too! Needless to say, I have to let them play one at a time! The All for Paws Automatic Ball Launcher seems well made and works like a charm! I will be purchasing some more of the recommended tennis balls. It does come with three, but my Doberman slobbers with his big mouth and I’m sure to need more! If you are looking for a great gift for your best friend, I highly recommend this! You’ll have fun too!

Got this because my dog loves playing fetch in a small area. The balls are quite small, so probably good for a lapdog. That’s my main gripe with it. They make it that way, so if you need new balls you HAVE to buy them from the manufacturer, though they do mention that in the ad. It seems to have some good distance all things considered. The only other problem is the funnel you put the balls into isn’t very forgiving and you almost have to place the ball in it to keep it from bouncing right out. At any rate, my dog seemed to love it.

All For Paws Interactive Automatic Ball Launcher is great product. It works just how described. The device is very well built and the concept is great. The hard part for me is training my puppy to use it. At first, my dog was afraid of the motor sound, it makes a bit of a whirring noise but after two days he got used to the sound.I started with training in increments; getting used to the sound, bring the ball back to me (next to the launcher), dropping the ball into my hands, and dropping the ball in himself (currently working on it). He does not yet feed the ball himself but I think he will learn over time.Something that I do not like about this product is the fuzzy balls. the balls become fuzzy after a few uses and within a few dozen throws. This makes my dog focus more on chewing and removing the fuzzy areas. I am going to look for some that size that are not covered in fuzzy stuff. Another issue that I have with this product is how to clean the inside after all the slobber is pushed past the gears.

She has ripped and torn many balls in the past but these she’s able to catch and chew on them and they are all intact. Unfortunately we lost one ball recently it was launched on the highest setting by accident and it went over the fence into the Main Street but luckily this came with 3 balls so she’s still out here running around and playing non stop. I highly highly recommend this dog toy to every dog owner you will not regret it! Just be ready to get some exercise in :)
