I purchased my first set 11/21 and got about 35k miles out of them, which is about average for me. I've tried Michelin LTX M/S and they I slid around in the rain, but got about 42k miles out of them. I've tried GY, Yokohama and Bridgestone as well and the Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo 2 worked all around the best but they stopped making that design and went to the Revo 3 and not as good. But I know I'll never get the 55k miles out of the BFG as they state on the limited treadwear warranty but they stick to the ground even when driving. The handling is great and they wear evenly. The sidewalls are more stout which is good for the off-roading and rubbing against curbs. Now here are my reasons for pulling these tires off my Jeep JKU. 1.)These tires catch and throw up rocks like crazy. So expect to start seeing more little chips in your paint job. 2.)They don’t grip the road in wet or rainy conditions like other tires I’ve used before in the past. I put them on my Jeep Cherokee Trail-Rated Trailhawk 6 years ago. 23,000 miles on them now and I could not be more pleased with them! The tread is still almost like new. At least 10,000 of those miles have been off-pavement, and probably 2,500 miles on rough, rocky, sometimes steep backroads and trails, as I am an enthusiastic off-roader living in a central Idaho town surrounded by mountains. The traction is awesome in snow and mud, and the tougher sidewalls have been a real boon over sharp rocky trails. I've bought this tires twice from TireRack for my 2012 Silverado 2500 crew C. I've use them from Nashville to El Paso Tx. And a bunch of other towns around both states. The tires I have on right now have gone 6 times back and forth from TX to TN while pulling my loaded trailer. They're very smooth and quite tires. Also they perform great on wet, dry roads and dirt roads rocky mountain roads of Ruidoso NM.. I need new tires right now. I brought this last set on 2021. And I've been shopping around but I can't seem to get good brand tires like this ones. This economy has let me scratching my head on what to buy. It's not that I don't like this tires, because they are awesome tires !! It's just that they're a bit pricey. my 305 70/18. I bought four in 2019. There were serviced/rotated in 2021. Tires have less than 40,000 miles on them. Two of them have major cracks on the sidewall. I have been given every excuse possible by several service centers. "Torque fracture from too much power". I drive a truck, not a Tesla. "Cracks happen when you carry too much weight". This is not a work truck -- I use it for camping and take public transportation to work. "You didn't rotate the tires enough - that caused the cracks". Did I mention the tires have less than 40K on them and are not even four years old? "You need an alignment" This wasn't mentioned to me when I brought them in for my last rotation. Aside from around town and a whole bunch of logging and forest roads, I'm taking it on mini camping trips to the desert, to the Klamath mountains, and I camped my way up Highway 1 from Eureka to the Olympic peninsula. I've also driven it to Blaine Washington and back a few times on the highway. Also a lot of highway driving down to the southern part of the Central Coast of California and both on and off-road and at Oceano Beach down in that area many times. I run LT35x12.50-17R on AEV Pintler wheels on my 4.5" lifted Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited and during the listed mileage I've been running ARB Old Man Emu Sport shocks and Metalcloak true dual rate coil springs on a primarily Synergy equipped short arm system and a Dynatrac Pro Rock 44U front axle housing with RCV axles and Reid Bros. steering knuckles and Timken unit bearings, Ten Factory rear axles and CJ Tatton double cardan drive shafts.I looked at some of the one star ratings on here and read with their road, and I don't understand how they wore their tires out so quickly.Both the sidewalls and the tread on all of my tires look absolutely excellent. Being as how these are E rated tires and the OEM tires are C rated tires, I run approximately 26 psi on the street. If I'm towing a trailer, particularly if it's somewhat heavy, I bring the rear tires up to 28 or 29PSI, maybe 30 at the max. And occasionally I'll bump the front tires up a couple of pounds as well.

They got about 1 mile using a rental AWD car only to find it couldn't even go up an incline with the show on the ground. They very slowly came back and used my Jeep for the trip. Trip went well getting to Maine... then even more snow came down resulting in most of the Mass Pike being closed due to the number of accidents, etc. Thus the switch to the two lane roads and while we passed a lot of vehicles off the road, or or unable to go up simple very gradual inclines we never had an issue. Even a number of 4 wheel drive pickups had problems with the snow and ice. Rebalancing has been needed between rotations (Discount Tire - Road Force)- They begin to lose their grip in the rain and snow after about 20-25K miles. I had to drive from Denver to Colorado Springs during the last big snowstorm (speed was greatly reduced due to the conditions) and they are all over the place. They have a 3 peak snow rating, but as they wear effectiveness is reduced on the highway and they will slide in the rain much faster than other tires.- They are quiet; probably the quietest tire I have had except for Michelin LTX AT2's on my trucks.Off-road (Jack of all trades and master of none--except maybe powdery snow):- They work reasonably well in the snow, I have gone through really deep powdery snow and they handled it just fine.- Loose, deep dry sand will typically find you close to stuck more often than not, wet sand is managed reasonably well.- Thick clay based mud will find you stuck and flexing your winch muscles. The tread design does not clear sticky mud and you will find they become 4 slicks with zero grip in short order.- Watery mud is cleared reasonably well, but they are no match for a true M/T.- They handle rocks "ok", but they will slip and drag you out of your line on side angled inclines and declines.Noise = 10 (even after 35K miles)Wear = 9 (even with the weight of my JLUR)Ride = 7 (9 at first; 4 after 35K miles)Dry = 9 (even after 35K miles)Wet = 6 (7 new; 4 after 35K miles)Snow = 6 (8 off-road--even after 35K miles; 4 on-road after 35K miles)Mud = 4 (2 in clay/heavy mud; 5 in all other mud)Sand = 6 (4 in deep dry sand; 8 in wet sand)Trail = 6 (they can slip in rocks on inclines and declines)Look = 5 (nothing aggressive or sexy here)Overall = 6.8Would I buy again? = No (as a jack of all trades and master of none (except noise and perhaps wear) they are too expensive for what you are getting) AND the balancing issue is unacceptable.
I purchased a set of KO2 AT for my RAM 1500 back in 2017 and ran them up until 2021. They are a great tire, meaty and aggressive, low road noise and outstanding traction, wet, dry, snow & ice. I reside in the upper North East by the Canadian Border. They lasted longer than I expected, I never had a problem with them and ran them at 38 PSI. I trust these tires so much so that I am planning to put a set on my daughters TJ, because her safety is above all to me and I feel confident in this brand and product through my own personal experience. They are pricey but everything is and if your on the fence I'd say go for it. Others claiming the tread not lasting but only rotated buy there listed dates once every 3 years or were driving daily in California. It is a an AT tire, I lived in Cali once upon a time, get a street tire. Cali roads are bad, especially anywhere from LA to San Diego. Poor up keep, grooved concrete and hot. Unless your doing Baja these are not for you there. If your in an area with Class 3-4 roads this is great especially in winter where with changing road types from asphault to dirt or pact iced over, ruts, mud, sand frost heaves or snow you need confident traction no matter the terrain and these deliver based on my experiance with all. Many times it wasnt until I got where I was going before I realized I never turned the 4wd, thats how good these tires are
These tires (LT315/70R17 Tire, All-Terrain T/A KO2) have been a disappointment. I had them professionally installed by a BFG reseller on a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and despite their rating I got approximately 30k miles of wear out of them.At about 25k I started to notice unexpected road noise and undue wear so I took them to my installer who verified my complaints and submitted measurements / photos to BFG. Despite falling well within the warranty range (time and mileage), BFG failed to provide any support and argued that I was ineligible because my tires were not OEM spec. Uh. Hello? Welcome to the aftermarket Jeep world.The best thing I can say about these tires is that they wore evenly and uniformly.
