These are the shoes I've been waiting for. Perfect glove like fit and and even support across the entire shoe. They have the sturdy feel of a trail shoe without any roll or lack of outer edge support that I experienced with the Tree Dashers. They would be perfect if there was a better choice of colors. I bought the red as they were the best of a poor mix of color choices. The colorways offered in several other styles with light color soles and dark uppers would be nice as these could be worn for all occasions. Still, my feet don't care as these are going to be my go-to for many years to come. If you are looking for a truly well made, solid and supportive shoe that can be worn comfortably right out of the box then look no further.

I love the other pair of Allbirds that I have, but they weren’t made for sports or trails. These perform great on tennis/basketball courts, around town, but on trails in particular. They have a very strong grip to them once you scuff them up a bit. Awesome shoes so far. I wish they had a little more ankle support, but that’s to be expected for a low profile shoe. Great active shoe option if you like Allbirds. One other significant difference is weight. They definitely fall into the trail shoe weight class. Don’t expect the feather weight of some of the other styles.

My second pair. First pair lasted approx one year and covered approx 2500kms of mixed seal/dirt/grass. Only shoes I have found with firm enough shank yet soft enough sole to provide both support and comfort, in my daily 8-10km walking regimen. I am a GBS survivor and have suffered from resulting peripheral neuropathy for five years. These shoes are undoubtedly the best option I have found for the difficulties I have.

I'll admit I haven't tried running in these shoes yet, just wearing them to check out the general comfort and fit. Next (literal) step is to test the shoes for support under stress. Maybe I'll update my review after that. The sale price was attractive and the order/ship experience was good.
Love these shoes, especially the color. I don't usually buy shoes that are basic colors like white/black/grey/blue but these look great! They're extremely comfortable and comparable to most of the running shoes I usually wear like Nike or Aisics or Rebok.I wear them so much though and have racked up so many miles I'm worried I may need another pair. They seem to be holding together well, but I have noticed a few scuffs and seem to get dirty very easily.
Run a smaller than other allbirds. I have a pair of wool runners and tree runners which both fit perfectly. The trail runners are a more narrow fit. They need to be worn with socks otherwise you will almost certainly get blisters. Pretty unforgiving insole as well. Look good, definitely would not trail run in them though.
Not sure I've ever been so happy with a shoe. The elastic around the ankle takes a little getting used to, especially if you wear it with low hidden socks, which I prefer. But that's a minor complaint. After a few wears, no problem. I might even try them for golf. I bought 10s, as I'm a 9 or 9.5 guy. Tried the 9 first and had no problem exchanging them through the website. Overall great experience!
Only taken on three relatively short and flat runs to date where they felt great, but not really tested on technical terrain. Shoes certainly look the part and very comfortable. Suit my wide kiwi jandle feet. Slightly difficult to get into with no tongue but that probably more a reflection of my high instep than design issue. Relatively heavy at 385 g per shoe.
This is the 5th pair of Allbirds I've purchased. All in different styles or materials. And none of them have been clunkers. Like the four before it, this pair is very comfortable once on and has gotten compliments from strangers at Starbucks. I do have one complaint about this model. It's harder to get on and off than any of the others. This is because there is no "tongue" under the laces. Its one solid piece of fabric. I have wide feet, and it takes a moment and some effort for me to get them on and off. I am hoping that may change as they break in.
I bought these as a walking / light trail shoe, particularly something to wear when traveling so that I don't need to pack both hiking shoes and street shoes. They're not a replacement for a reputable trail shoe, like Hokas, which are significantly lighter and have a more technical tread pattern. However, they Allbirds look great and can be worn around town without looking like you're wearing hiking shoes, so they're perfect when you need a shoe that does both activities well.I'm a 10 1/2 - 11 normally and bought the 11. They're just right, maybe a tad a too small length wise, but the 11 1/2 felt too big.
