A good winter shoe. A lot heavier body to the shoe which will be great for the winter. Great being able to have half sizes. A little clunky as a summer shoe with deeper sole and more rigid in he heel, which is good for me. The tongue no longer has edges inside which rolled up in my previous wool runner. A good design move! Quite wide even on my widish foot. Very well made I believe.

I’m a great fan of Allbirds.I only wear this product and have done since 2015. I’ve purchased many many pairs for myself and for friends over the past 10yearsMy recent purchase are delicious.Comfortable warm and fashionable.I’m so grateful for this product as I’m a person now in my seventies and need gentle and secure foot ware.Thanks to those who developed these wonderful environmentally friendly shoes.Shelley

Perfect sizing, the website recommended going up a 1/2 size, and they landed a titch longer than my regular size, (by like 1/8 inch), and a comfortable toe box, which I appreciate…so I recommend taking the website sizing recommendation. I put them on a walked for miles. I brought them along as my sole pair of walking shoes for a one month long urban/light hiking trip. There was no break in period. My feet are quite prone to blistering and there were ZERO blistering or chafing issues.They look great with a skirt and all colours of clothes. Very snappy with white jeans or a dark skirt. I’m enjoying the wool upper and the sole is very cushioning. All thumbs up. I like these so much more than the tree huggers.I don’t usually write reviews so this is a hard off to All ... Nice shoes that has great shock absorption. I can see the design improvements from the older version of the wool runner (e. g. wider toe box). Since only full sizes were available, I ended up getting size 7 although I had size 6. 5 in the old wool runners.However, I had to return the shoes as they were too tight on the top of my feet (instep). I also wish the back of the shoes gripped the back of heels better, especially since I had to go half size up. I will consider buying Allbirds wool runners again if Allbirds improve the shoe design further.
Returned . I’m a between size and too big. My last pair were a man’s size after trying a woman’s in my size. This should be explained as they are the same shoe. There was visible glue around joins on both shoes. For the price not acceptable. I preferred original style too. I love they are warm though. Might try again. Oh and in NZ you advertise them and seldom have anywhere near full size range . Thanks. Oh and still waiting for acknowledgement they were returned by courier a week ago
So comfortable and I love the new toe rounded space. A size 9 now fits perfectly once again - I love myAllbirds but previously had to order a 10 to prevent my toes rubbing the front of the shoe. As this was entirely unsatisfactory for my daily walking - shoe too long - I had decided against buying Allbirds again - until I noticed the new updated wool version. (I take an Australian 8 and 1/2 in any other shoes). So happy with the version 2 wool runners. Good move Allbirds!
These are comfortable. The reason why I have given them three stars is because the sizing is so variable between different styles. My last purchase were also wool shoes but they were a perfect fit even though both are a size 8. The wool runner 2 are a size too big. Reading previous reviews about exchanging shoes and reading your exchange policy myself has confirmed that you have made it as difficult and off-putting as possible to go ahead and exchange. You have a great product but unfortunately I won't be purchasing again online.
This is my 3rd pair of wool runners. When I first put on the wool runner 2 I noticed a lower profile and a bit more structured shoe. The tongue is bigger and the footbed is really comfortable under my slightly high arch. The weren't as comfortable on the heel right out of the box, but they haven't caused blisters. I will wear for a bit with socks before I try with bare feet. The material is very durable, as is the sole. I wear a US7.5 which is my actual shoe size and the fit is perfect. I don't think I will ever stop loving Allbirds.
Tried to get replacement for my wool runners that I just love and that are so comfortable and have lasted so well, and thought these would be similar but they are very different. I need a shoe horn to get them on and they are very tight across the top of my foot, although the same size, and feel narrower overall. Sole is comfortable enough but much higher and bigger than original. Very sturdy shoes but more like the mizzles and not the comfortable runners I was looking forward to.
The fit is not the same as the previous pair, it's too small and tight. The fabric is hard and stiff, unpleasant. I am having trouble returning them as the label generator on the website does not work. Emails aren't returning with any answer as to where I can send the shoes back, whollybot is a waste of time with generic responses that don't answer the question. No one has contacted me. Not happy although previously I was a huge supporter.
