Opened a pack of Snakes Alive, there are three different colors: red, yellow and purple. Red snakes are my favorite, because you can clearly taste the berry flavor, it’s not overly sweet and the texture is chewy but not sticking to your teeth. Yellow will be my next favorite, it tasted like pineapple flavor to me, while it is not as flavorful as red snake, it is still enjoyable. Purple snake came last, at the first 5 secs upon chewing the lolly, I can hardly tell what flavors it is, it is not until later on I can taste some sort of fruity taste, it is not distinctly different from the other 2 colors. To be honest, I would like it more if Allen’s can put one to two more flavors like green apple and orange flavor into the snakes. 3 colors/flavors in a Snakes Alice ... MoreOpened a pack of Snakes Alive, there are three different colors: red, yellow and purple. However I do like the current sweetness level for this pack. It’s not overly sweet that you want to stop having it after just 2-3 pieces.

Love these snakes, hadn't had them for ages but definitely on the shopping list now. The texture was nice and smooth as it should be and they still stretched as I remembered ( something that I did as a child) and I was shocked that they were the size I remember as well no shrinkflation in size of the actual product. My grandchildren loved them as well

I thought the packet of snakes I consumed were fresh and enjoyable. They still hold a memory of the original snakes unlike other varieties. I don’t normally reach for snakes as they appear in the mixed variety so I was pleasantly surprised when consuming many. The texture stands out the most. Please be careful when altering or changing flavours, as bags of the same lolly can start to taste the same. When we pick a red snake we want to taste a red snake. Nothing worse getting a bag of different flavoured treats and everything tasting the same ! It’s important as a consumer. In conclusion, stay superior and keep spreading the joy to both young and old, a bag of Allen’s treats is always a lifting thought at anytime anywhere.

A really good lolly to share. These snakes are full of flavour, eating one doesn't disappoint. Great for sharing or eating on their own. The colours are bright and it's made with no artificial colours or sweetness. Really enjoyable to eat.
Snakes have always been a favourite of mine but over the years have seen less green snakes per pack and more of the darker purple ones. I’m assuming they’re blackcurrant but never actually had one because once the pack is opened I dive in for the green sometimes only have two in the pack. As you can tell the green ones are my favourite
Was sent these as part of Allen’s taste testers & it was a little throw back! Snakes will always be a classic hit. Loved the new eco friendly packing and the flavours on the back. Enjoy this with hubby & a movie. Great date night addition!

On a Monday morning when I head into the office a little sad and tired because the weekend is over, I reach for a snake. It improves my mood and makes me more alert. On a Tuesday afternoon with the week still stretching before me I eat a couple more snakes to keep me motivated. On Friday with the weekend in sight, it's time for a few more celebratory snakes to get me over the line! Allen's Snakes are a perfect accessory to my working week , rewarding, delicious and value for money.
We absolutely love Allen’s snakes. The perfect treat to share with friends, colleagues or even just a cheeky afternoon treat. The texture is nice and gummy, good pull on the snakes and everyone has their own favourite flavour. 10/10 all round
