I wanted to have a three monitor set up as the laptop being one and the two external monitors attached through the docking station. I got the product in the early part of the day as I had to work on a 'matter' and it would have helped a lot to get it 'set up' in 'real plug-n-play' style. Being disappointed as except my laptop's stand and cooling fan, neither the two (2) additional displays are 'displaying' anything, nor my hard disk, attached via the docking station is showing up as yet. It's decent enough for the price, I haven't tried most of the functions such as audio or SD card reader.It requires 2 USB connections to run, one for power with the little lightning symbol and one for data.My cellphone charger doesn't seem to deliver enough power so I have to run the power and data from my laptop. It only has 3 USB out so It's a net gain of 1 port.
