I just bought this from another retailer. It is exactly the same product but it doesn't have the word gen 2 on the end of the name. It's got a simple on it saying ULTRA.It has and HDMI port that outputs 4k at 60Hz if you have such a monitor. A lot of these hubs only do 30 Hz.

The item works well and does what it says it does.
I bought this and it created a loud, high pitched frequency when in use. Tried returning and was told that it "just wasn't compatible with my interface" despite being unable to specify why, so I would only receive a gift voucher refund. Ridiculous.
This device shows on screen the USB memory stick I have plugged in but won't show the second one. Either port shows the first one plugged in, as I have tried both, but won't show up on screen the second one, so accessing a second USB isn't possible. If I want to transfer information from one to the other I can't without uploading to the desktop of my computer. I haven't tried other ports yet.
