Alpen No Added Sugar, wholegrain and high in fibre. I love it so much because it is healthy and a source of energy in the mornings. I warm up my milk and I just pour the amount enough to eat and I just enjoy it all the way. The taste is delicious and it is as well nourishing and not expensive to buy. I highly recommend it for people who are looking to eat healthy.

I have no problems with the product itself, which tastes fine and is part of my daily cereal bowl at breakfast time (along with Asda own-brand Weetabix and Shredded Wheat Bitesize). My issue is the fact that I am unable to order the 1.1kg bag of Alpen when I'm doing online shopping, be it via the website or the Android app. I can only find the 550g box of No Added Sugar Alpen. Why is this? The bags are much better value for money (when the boxes aren't on offer}. There seems to be many products available in-store but not online. It makes it pointless doing the online shopping at all if I then have to drive to a store to actually go in and buy numerous products off the shelf. I rate the product itself 5 stars, but the lack of online availablity is why it loses one ... Got this as a swap with my delivery when they didn't have my usual muesli and thought it was worth trying out. No idea how it has such good reviews - hopefully I just got a bad batch but it's so full of powder that it leaves me coughing! Bland as well, even with more fruit added, and I'm USED to eating no added sugar muesli! I prefer it to the over-sweetened nonsense! So it's not the absence of sugar that's the problem. I'll be putting the rest of the box through a sieve just to try to get rid of some of the dust because it just isn't edible as-is.If I could include a photograph I would - it looks like someone's mixed a couple handfuls of flour through it. Really not good, especially considering the price.
I was looking for muesli without added sugar. Alpen original and Alpen with blueberries, cherry, almond. When I opened the latter one, I was shocked. Half a pack looked like sand! There was no whole flake! Everything was covered in white powder of unclear origin! Taste is just disgusting. When i opened Alpen no added sugar- situation was slightly better in contrast to the first pack. But the reality doesn't match with the description at all! Wairose better not to sell such a low quality product.
I bought this muesli as I was sucked in by the appealing mix of lots of nuts and big flakes of oats on the front of the box. Upon opening it, I had to recheck the front of the box. Inside was a mish mash of tiny chopped up oat bits, dark coloured cornflake-like bits, no real evidence of any nuts and a lot of dried out sultanas. The eating experience was equally bland and exceptionally disappointing. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Ever!
I was surprised to read so many negative reviews. This is by far my favourite muesli and I've tried quite a few. It's noticeably less sweet than most competitors and I find the composition of the ingredients works very well. Some sultanas to give it a hint of sweetness, but not too many. There's always a slight crunch even when soaked for a longer period of time.In brief: perfect texture, excellent taste. If you'd like yours differently, you can always add extra nuts or dried fruit.
I normally purchase 2 boxes a month. It's a nice light breakfast I always add a small banana and handful of nuts, nice flavour not like cardboard
