Alpha-H Triple Action Cleanser 185ml

Not really sure how I feel about this. It is very nice and smooth on the skin, leaving my face cleaned. I have dry skin and it did felt a little stripped after washing it off but not too much, could be on my part of having dry skin. It's a clear liquid, doesn't foam, and is really nice and gentle on my sensitive skin. I feel like there's nothing special about it much but for reason at the same time, I really so like it (if that makes any sense, hahahha). What I didn't like was the smell- I am a VERY picky person on smells so even though this was barely scented (it has like a clean smell), I really did not like it. The lid screws off and because the product is a solid liquid, it just constantly oozes out. You don't even have to squeeze the tube, it'll just keep coming. A lot of the product sits in the cap of the lid- such a waste and a bit messy. I will probably have to buy a cosmetic pump to replace the packaging. Other than that, it's great. Pricing is average so I'd give it a try, if you can =)

A must have for combination skin

I found this cleanser excellent for my normal to oily combination skin. It cleans thoroughly without leaving the the skin stripped and as someone with sensitive skin, I tolerate this product very well without any irritation. I quite like this product from the Alpha-H range. Some of the other products I find are a bit harsh on my skin, but this non foaming gel cleanser does what it says it will do and is gentle on my skin.A very good cleanser that is very suited to Summer when a good clean is needed to get rid of oil and impurities on the skin, without being too harsh. A little goes a long way.

Best ever

This has been my go to cleanser for years. It’s seen me through oily premenstrual skin in my 30s and 40s and through peri menopausal easily upset skin in my early 50s, out the other side to post menopausal combination oily skin. I have recommended it to teenagers with breakouts and to any friends who want a cleanser to do eyes and face, plus act as a toner. I wouldn’t recommend it for dry skin, it’s not designed for that. This is a best friend for oily and combination oily skin and I wouldn’t be without it. Now please can you get micro cleanse back in stock for my morning cleanse?!

Beware- Actually an oil control cleanser

I took a chance on this since the few reviews there were were all positive but sadly I was disappointed.First I want to point out that the Alpha-h website advertises this specifically as an oil control cleanser but Sephora doesn’t. If I had known this was an oil control cleanser I never would have purchased it. It was very drying on my combo skin, even in my oily t-zone. If you are not looking for an oil control cleanser do not buy this.When they say “non foaming” cleanser they mean it. There’s 0 suds to it, none, zilch, which isn’t in itself a bad thing but is definitely something to be aware of.I found it hard to rinse off my face. As a previous review said, it really is akin to rubbing lube on your face. I tried to think of another comparison but nothing describes it as well as that.The reason for my 2 star rating instead of 1 is because this cleanser did leave my face feeling soft and calmed my skin. I had minimal redness after cleansing and it didn’t irritate my skin or clog my pores.

Great all round cleanser

This is a great all round cleanser. On the occasions I use the facial scrub first, this cleanser follows to wipe away any residue from the scrub and gives a nice clean finish. Or when using it as a first step cleanser, it’s great to use first to take off your makeup.It’s subtle but effective. Doesn’t strip the skin and helps maintain a healthy looking skin barrier.It’s one that has definitely helped in my skin care journey and will stay in rotation for a long time to come!

It does everything in a very gentle way

I had this cleanser as part of an offer bundle - absolutely love it. I am becoming a big AlphaH fan.Unusually applied to damp skin, the cream is so soft, thick and creamy. Smells divine. So soft and refreshing when massaging all over face, neck & decolletage, yes including eye lids. It gently removes all traces of make up, sun cream etc, I do use a damp muslin cloth to remove - a gentle exfoliation. The skin is left balanced, smooth & hydrated - it does not dry or irritate the skin at all and I have very sensitive, allergy prone skin - and thoroughly cleansed.Really the skin is so hydrated and balanced you could leave using moisturiser, but having a naturally dry skin I tend to use the essential hydration cream and Liquid Gold firming eye cream. My first review, truly an incredible product!!

This is the BEST, most gentle cleanser I’ve ever used. I finally started to slow down and weed out ingredients that were making my skin sensitive and red. I realized how many products - face washes, moisturizers, everything! - have chemical exfoliants. This product even has it printed on the bottle “no AHAs”. The thyme, aloe, and cucumber have soothed and relaxed my skin so much. I really hope this formula never changes and Sephora sells it forever (I wish it were in stores but I won’t split hairs here). Incredible product.

Perfect cleanser .

I’ve been using this superb cleanser on my combination skin for many years. Easy to use as it comes out easily out of the container,a 5 to 10 cent size is sufficient to remove any imbedded dirt in the mornings or make up removal in the evening. I am able to use this cleanser on my eyes and lips and I also combine it with the alpha h exfoliating scrub. This enables me to give my skin a gentle thorough massage before applying the alpha h masks. I alternate between the Triple Action Cleanser and the Balancing Cleanser as my combination skin can go through dry seasons in winter. It is affordable ,good value for money and versatile in its usage. It’s not just a cleanser.

Perfect morning cleanser

I have been using this cleanser for a while now. I have combination skin and in the evenings use the Alpha H balancing cleanser. I prefer the triple action cleanser in the morning. Makes my skin feel clean and fresh. I find it is much lighter to use this cleanser prior to moisturisers, serums and then make up.

Very impressed!

This cleanser has a subtle pleasant scent and it is gentle. It doesn’t strip out all the moisture and natural oil from your face like many other cleansers, but still does a good job cleansing. I personally don’t like that squeaky clean feeling because that means the cleanser is too harsh and stripped out your skin. This cleanser does not do that! Plus it comes in a big tube!
