Alpha-H - Vitamin B Serum with 5% Niacinamide - 25ml

One of the worst vitamin b aka niacinamide serums I have ever tried. I adore the retinol serum from this brand so I couldnt resist trying out their vitamin b as I have some amazing niacin serums in my collection and just love the ingredient for brightening, balancing, and keeping blemish prone skin clear. The fact that Alpha H's version had peptides on top of all else made me think this serum would be amazing/easy win. I use serums for all my actives from exfoliation, clarity, anti aging and per having oily blemish prone skin dont need the insane hydration from them dry skin types are obsessed with. Only need great ingredients that work and dont leave me stripped, just balanced and instantly absorb. So I do prefer more watery liquid formulas however dont mind hydration or slightly moisturizing texture when they actually absorb and dont leave a film or tackiness behind just making my skin feel gross and unable to layer moisturizer or spf after. The issue many have with endless Vitamin C serums. You can imagine my surprise testing out this serum one time and it leaving a film and heaviness on my skin as if I had applied honey practically which I would have looked past but even washing it off after a few hours my entire forehead was erupted in breakouts. I dont have remotely sensitive skin so expected maybe a little oiliness/congestion per it being a heavier greasier feeling serum but instead got a reaction that took a week to clear like nothing I've ever had in all my testing out of new products. This serum definitely should not be marketed to all skin types as it beyond was not acne prone friendly for me as an understatement yet alone gave any benefits that every single niacin serum does and such a shame as I would have loved having such a powerhouse formula with niacinamide and copper peptides but se la vie! 👎

Be careful those with nut allergies!

Had no idea two of these serums (the green one and the pink one)...contain MACADAMIA NUT extract.Those with high sensitivity to nut allergy could react to these...i luckily read the boxes and saw this in the ingredients...I have to say the Vitamin C serum was nice...that was my favourite. Favorite serum for pores, redness, and hydration!

I have sensitive, combo, acne-prone skin and have found that Vanicream facial moisturizer is the only moisturizer that doesn't break me out (few ingredients and actually non-comedogenic). However, I felt I needed more hydration (the prescription azelaic acid and aczone dry me out a little) and wanted something to help tone down my redness. This serum has been perfect! It does have a strange smell, but it disappears very quickly. I've noticed that it takes longer between facials for my skin to start acting out. My pores are looking smaller and the redness has significantly decreased. I highly recommend this serum to anyone with redness, acne, or who just needs a hydration boost.

Great Combination!

This serum is a perfect combination of some hardworking ingredients without any sensitivity or active ingredients so super easy to layer with other products or on its own. Niacinamide has a long list of benefits to the skin including, evening an brightening the skintone, strengthening the skin barrier, regulating sebum production and the list goes on. This then also includes Copper Peptides which is great to maintain more bouncy, from the skin as this is a key peptide found on our skin and blood plasma that drops with time and is part of collagen production and elacstin. Love this its lightweight andasborbs quick & easy.

This serum was recommended by Dr. Aherene Idris, aka Pillow Talk Dermatologist. It has a lovely green-blue color with a very faint scent that you get used to and don't notice after a few weeks. It has niacinamide which is the wonder ingredient for anti-aging. I think it is helping with my melasma but it's hard to tell. Most products I use claim amazing benefits which I have a difficult time seeing noticeable improvement but I use them religiously because the experts say it will help. As for a niacinamide serum, this one is lovely since it doesn't pill, doesn't feel sticky or tacky and doesn't irritate my skin. However, it is a bit pricey especially when you compare it to The Ordinary or The Inkey List. MUST HAVE!

I've been using this product for about a month now and it's absolutely amazing. My skin feels hydrated and my sun spots /hyperpigmentation has faded. The most noticeable result is that the dark circles under my eyes have vanished. I've already recommended this serum to others and they've had the same results. So happy I decided to try it out. The serum does feel a little sticky at first but the results far outweigh any cons.For reference: I'm 45 y/o with normal to dry skin. Olive skin tone with hyperpigmentation

Really nice serum!

Beautiful serum. I love the texture of this product and the 5% concentration of Niacinamide is perfect. Anything above that concentration my skin doesn't like. It leaves the skin with a lovely natural glow and helps control the oil on my tzone particularly well. It's an added bonus it contains copper peptide too. Totally worth the price tag. It lasts a decent amount of time too.

Skin gods have answered my prayers

This is the product I didn’t know I needed in my routine. My skin is complicated; my T Zone is dry, yes and the rest of the face is normal to dry.I tried heaps of products from other brands and even the Hyularonic serum from Alpha-H but nothing helped. In comes this magic serum, which I first purchased as a mini.Just the intervention I needed. My skin feels so plump and soft and hydrated like it’s had a big cold glass of water. So many compliments for my skin after using this in combination with other Alpha-H products. My doctor asked me if I had a make up on when she saw me. I didn’t, I went fresh faced and the only thing that changed was adding this serum. Will definitely be sticking with it in my routine.

Totally fine but no results, cruelty free?

My skin is pretty sensitive, so I become very apprehensive about trying a new product. This serum is fine, I can’t tell if it caused a little breakout here and there. Smell is pretty bad. Otherwise, I’m sure it’s doing great things while it’s on; I just haven't seen any noteworthy changes in my skin. When I wake up after slugging and retinol, that’s when I seem to have the best glow over expensive serums. I’m also not going to purchase this again until it’s confirmed it is cruelty free.

liquid gold

this stuff is insanely good! i got given a mini serum pack for my birthday and this was in it and the difference it made to my skin was crazy! so i decided to bite the bullet and purchase the bigger size and i’m so glad i did! the amount of compliments i get that my skin looks so clear, clean and dewy 😊 i love it, now it’s apart of my daily skin care regime. Just fyi i have dry skin and visible pores and a few dark circles around my eyes ! if your on the fence about this product GET IT! you won’t be disappointed
