Best shoes ever, got my size they are very comfortable and whats best about it they are flexible so finding lever and shifting gears will be so much better now :) Light!

I am extremly happy with my decision to purchas a more expensive boot.they really comftable to walk around in while still feel really safe without the ridgidity and squeeking when you walk around.my prevoius boots were the SMX plus and the supertechs are loads better.

AS boots are wide

I've always purchased AS boots due to the wider width. I am satisfied with the product overall but a little disappointed that some sections were rubber instead of leather. My 20 year old boots were all leather.

Great top tier boot

I initially had an issue where the zipper clasp on the left boot broke. For the first test fit indoors, I had the zipper all the way up, and everything secured. As I started walking a few steps, the zipper popped and upon further inspection, one of the teeth toward the top were bent and the clasp bent too. I was able to send them into Alpinestars for a free warranty repair(although I had to initial shipping). I suspect the stitching from factory was just a tad tighter on that side, as the right boot had no issues.If you have big calves and "smaller feet", this can make the boot a tad on the tighter side. I measured my feet and initially ordered a size 45 as my feet are wider than normal. I downsized to a 44 and the length is perfect, but it does take a little bit of effort to pull the zippers up in comparison (I didn't manhandle it when the zipper broke though lol).For reference in bald eagle sizes, I wear a 9.5w in Rocky Coyote Brown boots, and usually a 11.5-12 in street shoes with plenty of toeroom, but upsize due to width.Other than that, the boot has been great. The two boot design while awkward to put on and take off, provides confidence in protection. Took about two rides for them to break in and the non-venting model has not been a problem for me on 2hr street rides in 90*+ Arkansas weather.They aren't uncomfortable to walk short distances in. Just wobbly due to the heel and foot design.I purchased these boots back when they were $499 msrp(now $599) and was able to take advantage of a promo and RPM cash, bringing them down to the $370 mark, a deal I couldn't pass up.I would say they are a bit overkill for street use. Unless you also plan on tracking or just have the extra funds, go with the SMX 6 V2's. Other reviews stated they are more user friendly in terms of taking on/off and walking around while still offering good protection

Supertech V2 Boots: Good Choice

Super comfy boot, nice fit and feel. I run a size 12 in Alpinestars dirt bike boot so went the size 12 after seeing other reviews that these are “true to size” however, I felt these boots are a bit long in the toe for a size 12. Otherwise a good fit, my foot doesn’t slid around in them. Definitely feel protected in them.

The fastest shipping I have experienced buying motorcycle gear online. The Supertech R boots are worth every dollar. Was tossing up between the Dainese Axial , TCX and Sidi’s offerings , having wider feet these Supertech R seem to be perfect and very comfortable. Not to mention the quality is premium. Looking forward to putting them through their paces on the track. Will purchase from bikebiz again that’s for sure!
