Super long repair time-line as well, so you can pretty much kiss it goodbye for your season! They will stonewall you too, if you ask for a supervisor they will block your email. Now, I have to question safety of this jacket- do I trust that it will stay together in an accident or become a hindrance potentially costing me my life? Alpinestars refuses to tell me how it will be repaired. Just not worth it. Another web search will show some of the warranty work actually done by AS, like the glue-it-back together with any glue incident. This jacket should be recalled and it's not going to be because profits matter more than lives, apparently.I'll be showing this jacket off at the next couple of bike nights, but only because it's dangerous.

To be honest, I was looking at the other alpine stars mesh jackets but they were all sold out. This one was available and seemed to be a new product with no reviews. I went for it and I truly enjoy it. The build quality is very good, and it breathes very well! I was wearing it on a 30C day and a 17C day and somehow it feels like it handles both very well with just a T-shirt under it. It provides lots of airflow while not too much to make you cold, it regulates it well. It also fits me quite good, I am a 195lb 6ft male with a long torso and the XL fits me perfectly. It doesn’t have a liner, but it is cheaper than the other mesh jackets by alpine stars.

Love this jacket. I"ve been wearing it for a number of years now. It's bullet-proof and has worn in very nicely. Fits great and I'm a big guy with long arms which is usually a problem. Super comfortable and breathes very well for warm weather riding. Highly recommended.
