Worst ear buds I have ever owned. After fighting with it for hours I got to work initially. And then every time I use them then they would work less and less and less. Now even if fully charged and I can get them to sink they'll stay on their longer than 30 seconds and drop connection and maybe resync with the right earbud only. It's not worth the money even if they're on sale because they're just going to become castaways. I should have really read into the red flag when there is literature in the box saying not to return them and call product support first. Which is fine and dandy when it actually links you to the right one rather than a QR code that takes you to an inactive location. So if they're only saving grace was supposed to be customer service they failed ... MoreWorst ear buds I have ever owned. After fighting with it for hours I got to work initially. Almost dead even on 5050 1's and 5's something must have happened because right off the bat I was having problems. Then I went 5o the website for some shooting and got them to work successfully once for just over 3 hours. After that one time, they simply don't pair with one another or one side is terribly static and the other is crisp or only one works or they both work all WAY under the hour mark which I guess isn't so bad/1st world problem/yaddayadda yet someone who is selling something where I come from wants their product to work so the customer comes back.... and unfortunately if it's a total crapshoot that's not a quality product. Profit maybe. Not product. I kept thinking I was doing something wrong at the ancient age of 30 until I read these reviews. Earbuds aren't like boots... you don't have to keep bluetoothing them until they feel good. I've been wrong before but like if Alltec wants to send a new pair that work or like send some sort of replacement that be cool. I am a swimmer and a student so earbuds are right there with oxygen and wifi. Thank you!Cheers to the lucky ones who got the good ones!

These buds sound okay. Not the greatest sound but they’re also not tin can like. The problem I’m having with them is the audio keeps stuttering and the earphones keep going out of sync from each other. I have to hold my phone up to my chin for them to stop stuttering. Issues with one bud going silent from them being out of sync. They have good controls, pause, play, volume up and down, even controls for Siri. I’m using an iPhone 12 Pro Max. I’ve tried resetting them. I’ve used them for 4 weeks now. My phone has no issues with my other Bluetooth devices.

I bought the Altec Lansing Nanopods in Royal Blue a little over a week ago and have to say I am impressed. I live in a basement apartment where network is known to be spotty, especially in my kitchen. Since i began using these nanopods though I’ve noticed I can leave the phone in the living room while I speak to people over the phone from my kitchen. For music fans, these may not be the loudest ear pods on the market but they are still pretty impressive. They definitely do work well at canceling out background noise but not so much that you wouldn’t hear a car horn while out for a run on the streets (which is a good thing). The only issue that worried me at first was that when I first opened the package and tried connecting to the nanopods, just the right pod ... MoreI bought the Altec Lansing Nanopods in Royal Blue a little over a week ago and have to say I am impressed. They definitely do work well at canceling out background noise but not so much that you wouldn’t hear a car horn while out for a run on the streets (which is a good thing). The only issue that worried me at first was that when I first opened the package and tried connecting to the nanopods, just the right pod worked, but once I placed them in the charge case for a few minutes and then began using them again both worked like a dream! If you read the instructions in the package, they do direct you to activate the pods by first placing them in the charge case.I use them every single day now and can get through an entire work day with them! In total I get around 10 - 14 hours of use from these.
These have better bass than my Beats earbuds. Also more compact and sleek-looking. The sound controls work without having to load an app on your device, which I like. Had it lose contact with my device in the middle of a show but it reconnected OK. That was weird - I hope it doesn't keep happening. Minor quibble: I have two different size ear canals and none of the 3 size eartips fit as well as I'd like but the medium is close.
I picked these earbuds up about a year ago and have had a few issues with them, but they work most of the time, and the price was so good that I can excuse some minor connection issues. Sound quality is exactly what I expect from Altec, quite good for the price. My first set had a (VERY quiet) ringing in one earbud which made that one die way faster than the other, and was annoying during podcasts, not heard during music. My local Bestbuy replaced them off the shelf since I went back in almost immediately with them.Overall, I don't regret my purchase, and would recommend these! That said, if you want perfect truely wireless earbuds for this price, keep looking, and good luck.
I wish there was a way to rate a product -5 because to rate it as a 0 is too generous. It worked okay for the first 2-3 days. Then only 1 earbud would pair no matter what I do. It says to reset you have to hold down for 9 seconds on both earbuds. Let me tell you all my fingers and my thumbs hurt from holding down all possible ways and no reset ever happened. So I have 1 earbud working but it alternates between the left and right. You just never know which one will work.Add a few more dollars and get a brand that actually works.
I bought these a couple of days ago, and after charging, resetting, charging, resetting, and resetting again, only the right earbud worked. I swapped the L and R in the charging base to see if the left might charge, but no success. So I exchanged them today and returned home to charge them. The charging base lights were not working, but I decided to try charging them anyway. Four hours later, neither the case nor the earbuds are charged. So back to Best Buy for a 3rd attempt. Because they won't allow returns on these things, I fear I may be stuck in an infinite exchange loop. I went with this brand because I really only need basic earbuds, and these fit the bill. But I DO need them to work!
I bought these as e gift for my wife, who liked the small size of these. So we have had these for more than a year, and it was a struggle all this time. Any money spent on these NanoPods is a waste. These headphones are even worth than cheap Chinese knock-offs I have used. They can't keep BT connection, one or both would constantly disconnect. Often putting them back into the charging box is the only way to reset them. We regret we didn't return them shortly after buying. I give two stars only because of the design.
I have tried so many types of headphones over the years and most of them were disappointing. They were either not comfortable, did not stay in place or had a short-battery life.So far I am very pleased with the performance and design of these headphones. They come with 3 different ear adapters and the small ones feels very comfortable and seem to stay in.Battery life gets 5 stars. I don't ever use them for more than a couple of hours at a time, and they always have battery left. The lights make it easy to tell how much battery life is left. And the fact that the case can also charge your headphones is genius and so convenient on the go. The case is small enough to fit in your pocket and has a very chic design. I think the ultimate test would be wearing them on a plane where I really need to turn the volume up.I use them a lot when I do chores around the house and even though my house is not small, they don't ever get disconnected.I am not a huge fan of the touch controls because it seems a little difficult to remember how many seconds to hold earbuds down or which earbud does what, but I can definitely work my way around all that by using my device to control the volume and other settings.
