Amazfit GTS 2 Smart Watch - Urban Grey

This is exactly what I was looking from a Smart Watch. Small story before we talk about my Amazfit GTS4 mini. I have been using a Chinese Smart watch (Now a days no need to mention term "Chinese" as everything is chinese :D ) since couple of years and was frustrated over the battery performance as it could last only upto 3 days on less to moderate use. You use it bit more and Battery is gone within a day. For a watch that I need to charge again and again to even see the time is worth nothing. Inbuilt GPS with 5 satellites, great for activity tracking with precision.12 days since full charge, used it moderately to track few of my activities(With GPS) in these 12 days, and battery still shows 33% .Not a fan of receiving the notifications on my Wrist, (something that annoyed me in my last Smart Watch) , so have turned off this feature on GST4 MINI. Also not lazy enough to receive and answer calls on my watch, hence GTS4 Mini not having a feature of receiving a call is not a deal breaker. Good built quality. Perfect Smart companion to go for.

The smartwatch is very light and comfortable as mentioned 19gms only. The watch strap are very soft,made of premium quality silicon and has interpolation system hence gives a secure fit but the buckle is made of plastic instead of metal.--It has 2.5d curved and completely flat display, half metal body and button which gives it a premium look. The display is anti fingerprint and is scratch resistant. The watch has a rotor motor which gives good haptic feedback. It also has built in alexa which can answer simple questions via text and set alarms, reminders,timers.--The watch has 49 watchfaces only right now which are extremely less at this price point and only 7-8 of them look good. Watchfaces synchronize within 10seconds.--There is 24/7 heart rate,blood oxygen and stress monitoring. The watch gives really accurate measurements and is quite dependable for health readings,this is probably due to the latest biotracker-ppg 3.0 sensor which is being used in this watch. (Note:Sp02 works only when you wear the watch 2cm upwards from the wrist). The watch automatically stops reading health data when the arms are moved even slightly suggesting you to keep your hands steady. It also has sleep breathing quality measurement. The sleep data too is very accurate tells you light sleep, deep sleep, REM,awake time in graph and detailed format.--The watch has 120+ sports modes, gives very detailed health data,graphs, auto detects sports modes and has virtual pacer, cadence assistant,everything you would ever need for. You will be able to view all the data in watch itself(workout map,graphs,sleep data,settings). It also has training efficiency which tells you training load, vo2 max and recovery time.--The best part are the installable apps from the appstore in zepp app like calculator(not scientific calculator), bmi, watch storage space, sos flashlight and water time reminder and many more. Amazfit has not added useful apps like Home Connect and Notify for Maps which are present in expensive amazfit watches. It has all the basic features like the alarm,calendar(syncs to phone's calender),to-dos,sun and moon,compass,music controller,world clock,stopwatch,countdown,breathe,find my phone,pomodoro timer,camera remote. It comes with new smart alarm feature which wakes you up during light sleep. It has reply to call notifications but misses out on the reply to social media messages.--It has 200mb of storage space of which 100mb is used by system itself and other 100mb is free for installing apps and watchfaces(no music storage available). (Note: The more data you store in watch lesser free storage will be available in the watch). For incoming messages it has support for chosen emojis only not all of them, also it does not have support for hindi text messages. It also has password lock from 0-9 for privacy. Watch justifies its price. no major bug found in this watch. But new buyers must check all the sensors of the watch are working, within the replacement period. Mine first watch was defected. Its Autobrightness function was not working and I noticed it after two days. But thanks to the Seller and Amazfit India that the watch was replaced with the new one with no hassle. Seller sends the new watch and the delivery boy gave me the new watch hand to hand after checking the defected watch is intact, without scratches and all that. steps tracking, sleep monitoring, is perfect. The inbuilt GPS seems to be dodgy if you try a walking workout in your 40 to 45 feet lawn, the distance calculation is inacurate if you walk to and fro between this short distance and take u turn ... MoreWatch justifies its price. no major bug found in this watch. But The GPS tracker of the watch is completely accurate if you try it for longer distance, like walking by the roadside or walking or running on a longer track. The Battery life of the watch is around 4 and a half days if you turn the heart rate monitoring interval to 30 minutes and are doing activity of around 1 and a half hour daily. in my case these are the stats I am getting from this watch. inbuilt GPS tracker is really good but not be used to track running and walking activity in a smaller ground of around 40 to 45 feet.

The watch is ok for the budget, this was one of the watches that offered a gps at this budget .the accuracy is fine and does have a host of fitness features. One con is the screen glass quality as it scratches fast. The screen brightness is good in daylight and if i use it only as a fitness tracker, the battery lasts 2 weeks for me as I have not activated calls, msgs features , i have a phone for that!I synced my calendar though, but it often misses out the meeting alarms which is a downer. The belt comfort is ok. Amazfit gts 4 mini best health tracker ever

I am a data gathering nerd when it comes to health. This smart watch does exactly what i wanted. The sleep data is really accurate when it measures my REM/light/deep sleep cycle. I also keep track of my daily bike routine to/from work and one thing it is really nice is it locks into GPS and gives me real time speed i am going. I also use the outdoor walking with GPS ebabled so it tracks how fast i walk. The other good feature is how i love the fact that the watch is 5ATM water resistance and i wear it to track how fast, how many laps of swimming i made. There are tons of excercise mode (126 of them) and i am sure it taylors to everyone's need. The other modes i use a lot is the elliptical and free training mode. It helps me to track how many PAI i got each week as having 100 PAI or more as studies shows will have an average life span 8 years longer than average. One of the other features i used often is the one touch health which measure heart rate / blood oxygen and stress level. With constant use and tracking of my daily excercises the best thing is the baterry will last more than 10 days in one single charge.

I have a number of fitness and smartwatches from many other competitors but this has fast become one of my favorites. I bought this because it fit my preference for size, looks and features. . This one hits the sweet spot in terms of look and size and this seems to a top performer. My main uses for this is for tracking fitness for cycling, running with GPS. I did a couple GPS tests so far and I am pleasantly surprised at how quickly GPS is ready to do, and accuracy on par with some other known reliable performers I use. I believe this uses a newer heart rate module then previous version and seems to work consistently well. Battery performance is excellent. Some other features and specs of this watch are: - Alexa (built-in mic) fun and extremely useful - 1.65 HD Amoled screen. This is a bright crisp solid display and responsiveness is tops. - Sleep / Fitness fitness/sport functions. Extremely useful and quite overwhelming really with that is offered :) - 15 day battery, excellent -120 Sport modes with (built-in 5 position GPS) -24H Heart Rate, SpO2 & Stress Monitoring I give this 5 stars considering value, performance, comfort and overall design and feature set. Only thing I can think of is I wish there was a backtrack feature for GPS use when on a run or hike.

Great Value and a Multitude of features

for someone who has never worn a watch since high school, I was skeptical at first and not very much at ease with something on my wrist. Slowly, i have come to terms and I have started liking it to the point that it is on me almost 24 hrs. now. I was not looking for a smartwatch to begin with, but ever since I bought the Hydrow rowing machine I wanted a watch that would automatically detect rowing and this one really fit the bill. I did not want to pay a lot too...so it worked well. Time will tell how long this will last / endure. Not many options, but the ones that are there are cool - Sleep information is very handy...it tells a lot of details (picture attached) - The PAI score is informative but doubt the veracity...after 5 days of workout my "health-based age " is down 12 years from my biological age ... LoL - This is a Chinese product from Huami ( made in collaboration with Huawei) .. so not sure about unfounded conspiracy theories about Chinese hacking - And YES, the Battery life...awesome . Much better than my wife's Garmin . This is the best part - My wrist is thin and despite that I wear it at the 7th hole from the end...that would mean that a really thick wrist will find the strap not quite there Overall, this is a great buy, especially the value is beatless....I serves my sole purpose, which was to track my Hydrow work and I am happy.

The display on this jumped out at me when I looked at the display so bought one. Thus far, very pleased with it and impressed with it. I was able to customize this exactly to my liking. If those I have, this is my new favorite. I have Apple SE, Samsung 3, Fossil Gen 4, Fitbit Blaze and Garmin Venue Sq. Of course some of these are older so will ignore those. This has a few more features than the Apple SE and I prefer the display on the Amazfit but I see nothing specifying what the face material is so that may be more durable on the Apple but TBD. Also no problem getting a screen protector for the Apple. TBD if I can get one for this. Unless cell capability is needed, I would still pick this over the Apple, especially at half the price. In summary, this is a surprisingly polished watch. If works smoothly and all features work as expected. Frequently I see lower cost knockoffs just lack the finesse of the main brands, especially Apple, but that is not the case here. This one is a winner. Compared to the T-Rex, that display is still great but the band and housing feels cheesy. This GTS 4 band is not quite as nice as the Apple but close.
