Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids Pro Tablet - 32 GB

Okay, so first things first. I don't love that in order to use the tablet, you have to subscribe to a monthly kids + account which is an additional $5 spent every month. I'm not sure how often my child will be using it, therefore I'm unsure if it's worth the money spent on a subscription. Luckily, I already have an Amazon account that I use regularly, so it was only an additional $5 versus $8/month. Another thing that I'm not entirely loving is that no matter, how you strict you set the settings, Amazon will still put different apps/videos they'd recommend to your child on the home page. Many of the videos do not need permission before playing. I'd prefer the home page to be entirely app-less, unless I've downloaded something specific. Many of the videos do not need permission before playing. I'd prefer the home page to be entirely app-less, unless I've downloaded something specific. I'm very careful about what my child consumes. He's 5 years old, and I'd really only like him to have learning games on his tablet. Reading, writing, and math. There should be no recommended batman videos. With that being said, the learning games that I have come across have been very useful and educational. No pop up ads like you'll occasionally get from your phone. I do feel like my child will learn a lot from the games that can be added. I can speak on durability since it's practically new and it's yet to be dropped. But with anything like this I'd recommend getting a screen protector or an additional case.

I had bought the non pro version of this and loved the case and weight but it was just too slow. My daughter would get annoyed. So we switched to an ipad but it's much bigger and more costly to replace if she breaks it. This version is so much faster. It loads really quickly. It is light and compact so easy to hold and transport. The box said it comes with a 2 year worry free guarantee. I like that is has more parent controls than the ipad. I can choose which apps she gets and ask permission for her to add things. It comes with a amazon kids subscription that has her favorite shows like Peppa Pig and Daniel Tiger. Set up was a breeze and there were some nice games we had not heard of that were suggested. Colors are vibrant on the screen and sound is great. These tablets are amazing. All 3 of are children have them. They are very educational as well as great to take on road trips etc. We download streaming apps such as Disney or Netflix so the kids can have their favorite shows. These tablets also come with kid proof cases which have held up amazing. I love the parental features where I can time their screen time, shut it off, and approve or deny apps. The battery life is also great! I couldn't recommend this tablets more.

As a family of all 3 growing little boys, we've owned various versions of Kids Fire tablets throughout the years. As the boys are getting older, it was time to surprise our 6 year old who is going into 1st grade with an upgraded model. This Fire HD10 Kid Pro was exactly what he and we needed. Our son loves to play various games, read books, and the best part is that we are able to control with the parental access what he has access to and approve when he installs new applications. One of my favorite parts is setting a limit on how much screen time he has or his siblings. They are able to switch within the users, and each one has a certain time limit and access to appropriate age content! The best part is that they don't have access to the full internet! My son loved this Nebula design in the back and how it has a stand if we just wants to watch or read something. It makes it convenient for airplane travels or car rides! This tablet lasts a while with a 13-hour battery life, super fast, and easy charge that's included. 32GB for memory, 10.1" HD screen. Ad-free content is a bonus! It's great for 6 to 12 years old(my 6 year old and 9 year old absolutely love this!!). There are so many fantastic educational applications without having to worry constantly about what my boys are watching or having access to. I am able to purchase additional accessories such as headphones. It comes with a 5MP camera front and back for those who love taking selfies or chase me around all day with the camera haha. As well as video recording access to get really creative! In our case, our boys love to make videos about their cats and latest coolest dance moves! The soft case is very comfortable for little hands and keeps this mama at peace without worrying if they crashed the screen from all those drops! I highly recommend this kids' tablet. It makes it a great birthday or holiday gift! I love that it has an upgraded processor, and it doesn't hang up like the older versions did. Easy to use. Great tablet.

[Rewarded Review] 2 year warranty

We have been Amazon Kid’s Fire for a couple of years now. These tablets come with a 2 year warranty. You can return for any reason and they’ll send you a replacement-ask me how I know LOL(I have 4 year old and 6 year old sons and in their younger days, they really pushed that warranty. Now that they are older, they understand that they need to treat them better. The kid’s case should do fine for school aged children. Maybe not toddlers. These are Amazon Fire tablets with a kid’s case and a kid’s page, that is preloaded with some possible apps, based on your intended age viewing. I’ve tried other tablets but this one I really like for my kids. It’s easy for them to use, I’m happy with the parental controls and like the app choices available.*I received this for free ... MoreWe have been Amazon Kid’s Fire for a couple of years now. [Rewarded Review] Awesome for kids

My 4 year old daughter loves it. Great parental controls and faster than the previous versions. Amazon free time unlimited is definitely worth it, they find safe games for the age range you set, some which are usually games you have to purchase, and some come with unlimited lives or no ads that you would have to purchase in game but Amazon provides it for you. My daughter loves telling me about all the games she gets, she says I buyed that, and I love that it suggests new content based on what she likes. Parental controls allow you to put time limits, hide apps you don't want, and even has a volume limiter now. Really a great purchase, the 2 year guarantee gives you peace of mind but so far is a very sturdy tablet. We had older versions from my older kids, one of ... MoreMy 4 year old daughter loves it. [Rewarded Review] Case is poor design

Tablet itself is ok typical kindle. Battery life is ok. Case is junk and doesnt provide much protection on drops. Kickstand broke leaving sharp metal and screws sticking out. Could easily cause cuts to child. Upon notifying amazon told it was an accessory not a replaceable item. But the case has to be on tablet to be covered for replacement if it breaks. Have had several amazon kids editions this model case is the worst.

[Rewarded Review] Easy to set up and fun for kids

I received this free to try in exchange for my honest review. The Amazon Fire HD 10 kids tablet walks you right through setup do getting started was super easy. The tablet comes in a cute removable blue case that will definitely help protect it in the case of dropping or kid roughness. Quick startup and app loading is a definite plus. I was thrilled that a year of an Amazon Kids subscription was included free. I have a subscription to Noggin already and was able to easily log into that app on this tablet. I also noticed a PBS kids app on the tablet too. There are a multitude of other apps, movies, games , music, and other stuff on here too. We have found some great games on here and there are still tons of things to explore. This tablet is perfect for my 3 year old ... MoreI received this free to try in exchange for my honest review. I love that this tablet gives me access to a ton of educational content. You can create profiles for children of different ages so that younger kids don’t access inappropriate content. Definitely recommend it if you are in the market for a kids tablet. All the younger kids in my family love it.

[Rewarded Review] The Amazon Fire HD 10 kids pro tablet…

Absolutely amazed by all the awesome features this tablet offers. First and, in my opinion, the most important one: parental control. I don’t want to provide a tablet for my child without knowing/ managing what they have access to and for how long. So, with this feature, I am the one in control and that is a huge win. That way, it gets used the way it is supposed to. It offers educational books and programs created for kids. The packaging included a charger and a lovely green cover/case for protection (because we all know that kids like to throw things). That same case has a stand that helps keep the tablet up right when needed. Overall, with the right intention and supervision, this tablet could make a great addition to the interactive education that you provide ... MoreAbsolutely amazed by all the awesome features this tablet offers. [Rewarded Review] Very nice kids tablet!

This is mainly a kids tablet but you can have different profiles and make adult ones so it's just like a regular tablet. It has TONS of content for kids. Games, videos, books, music, etc. The only thing I don't like is that the kids profile page shows everything like apps already downloaded and apps that aren't downloaded. In my pic you can see this. Everything with a check is downloaded to the tablet and everything else is stuff you can download. For a younger kid they don't really understand this and think it automatically has all this stuff but they actually have to click on each one and wait for it to download. There's not really a place to see everything your kid has downloaded either. I trust all the content but it would still be nice to manage. Its so convenient to have so many different options that you don't have to worry about whether you have to pay for it or not. It also comes with a super cute and sturdy case that has a handle and stand.
