This product is packed full of essential nutrients including Zinc and Iron. As a Nutritionist, it's my go-to product to recommend to anyone who has a sensitive digestive system as it's a sprouted formula and contains plant-based digestive enzymes. It's also suitable for vegans as it contains up to 99% of the RDI for Iron which may be difficult to obtain from a meat-free diet. I enjoy using this in smoothies, protein pancakes, muffins and in oatmeal to boost the protein content of my meal.

As a Certified Nutritionist, I love this protein. To be honest, I was a little hesitant to try it as my tummy doesn't tolerate protein powders very well. This one is not only delicious but also easy to digest. It has quality ingredients with a great nutrient profile. I would recommend this to anyone who is dairy-free, or who finds dairy-based protein powders more difficult to digest. It goes great with a banana and some nut butter :)

As a Certified Nutritionist, I often look for a blend of plant proteins in a good protein powder. Organic Sprouted & Fermented Golden Pea Protein and Organic Sprouted Brown Rice Protein hit the nail on the head for me. Also an ingredient I love is bromelain. Blends really well and very creamy. A good too product for myself and clients.

As a Nutritionist, I'm personally a big fan of the Amazonia protein and it's one you'll often find in my fridge. It's a plant-based option, made up predominantly of pea and brown rice proteins. They use sprouted and fermented ingredients, which allows us to get more nutrition while being easier on our digestion. The Amazonia Raw Proteins also have added digestive enzymes, which help us break down the protein and make the most of the amino acids inside.Vanilla is always a good option for versatility and means it goes with almost any smoothie, shake or sweet recipe that we want to whip up!
As a Certified Nutritionist and Dietitian, I really enjoyed this protein. It mixed well in smoothies, oats and baking. Has a subtle vanilla flavour. Also great that it's a blend of both rice and pea protein giving it a complete amino acid profile with the added bonus of being rich in iron and other minerals and added fibre. Would recommend this to my clients as part of a balanced diet.
As a Nutritionist and Naturopath, Amazonia Raw would have to be one of the cleanest proteins on the market. Their protein is Certified Organic and the Protein Isolate offers sprouted and fermented plant-based protein to support optimal digestion. This blend is extremely nutrient-dense offering a range of essential amino acids and some beautiful digestive enzymes. Add this to your favourite smoothie, stir through your porridge or drink it as is with your favourite liquid as a base.
Taste and texture is not great. I know that vegan protein powders can be difficult to find with great taste and texture, this one is average in comparison to others I’ve tried. Not terrible but not great either. I found a little too sweet as well, I bought the vanilla but perhaps the natural would be better, as I don’t like the texture either I probably wont try to see if there is a difference
I bought this a couple of days ago and its the worst tasting protein powder I have evertasted. Its grainy, powdery and leaves a horrible after taste in your mouth. The stevia sweetener even though it is supposed to natural, is overpowering. I regrettably didn't read the review on Amazon before I purchased it. Hard to even contact the company and Chemist Warehouse wouldn't refund my money. Money down the drain. I have contacted the Company but doubt I will hear back. No phone numbers or fb page that I can find. Only a contact us form.
After a long search I've finally found a plant-based protein powder that ticks all my boxes. This is really superior nutrition as far as I'm concerned, with everything my body needs for muscle growth and repair. I love that the golden pea and brown rice base has been sprouted and fermented. I make lots of fermented foods myself, so really appreciate what this process does to provide added vitamins and digestive enzymes which increases my body's ability to absorb all the goodies. A complete amino acid profile is another plus. Certified organic, this comes with absolutely no nasties, and it's heavy metal tested to boot. Tastes great by itself, but I usually add a few extras to make this a well-rounded breakfast , and sometimes lunch as well: half a ripe organic banana ... MoreAfter a long search I've finally found a plant-based protein powder that ticks all my boxes. This is really superior nutrition as far as I'm concerned, with everything my body needs for muscle growth and repair. A complete amino acid profile is another plus. Certified organic, this comes with absolutely no nasties, and it's heavy metal tested to boot. Tastes great by itself, but I usually add a few extras to make this a well-rounded breakfast , and sometimes lunch as well: half a ripe organic banana with peel (for resistant starch which leaves me feeling full for longer) plus a tablespoon of chia or freshly-ground flax seeds, half teaspoon maca and a tablespoon or two of finely chopped herbs from the garden - dandelion leaves for liver cleansing, gotu kola and brahmi (both ayurvedic tonics). Since starting this regime with Amazonia RAW I've noticed a substantial increase in energy and staying power without the need for in-between-meals snacking, and I've lost a few centimetres around my waist, so I'm staying with it!
This is one of the tastiest vegan protein powders I've had. I favour the Amazonia protein isolates (I like the chocolate flavour too) because they also contain vital minerals. For example, the chocolate flavour contains 12mg of iron, which is 66% of the recommended daily iron intake for women of child-bearing age (the vanilla flavour for some reason has only about half this amount, though, sadly). Chem Warehouse prices are always good value as well.
