American Crew Fiber - 3 oz

Don't get me wrong, there are a TON of awesome hair gel products on the market today. However, as a male, I find myself running into the same few issues... 1.) Yes, I have thick, Italian hair, but, as a male, I don't quite need "concrete hold." Give us some variety! 2.) I'm often able to find a decent "hold" level, but I'd simply like to smell like something other than Floral Grace in the Spring Pastures. 3.) To bring it all together, we simply NEED a solid degree of hold and need NOT smell like 5W-20. (That's a solid NASCAR Cup engine weight, making close to 900 horsepower, in case my "man-card" is in doubt.

I initially got this pomade given that I have longer hair, we all get fly always and I wanted something that wasn’t gel and hardening. It lasts long. However, after a while, it seemed to have dried out even after making sure the container was closed. Maybe I got unlucky with the one that I’ve purchased and should give it another shot. It is a little tough to spread across your hair without leaving a white streak that you’ll have to continuously massage into your hair until it goes away. Light smell.

I love American crew products, and this fiber cream is by far my favorite of the line now. This product is not a thick cream, doesn’t dry, flake, or become hard, or greasy. A softer more moldable cream version of fiber for those who used it long ago. A very small amount in towel dry hair. My hair is about 3 inches and works great. A true medium hold. Also good in shorter hair too. Thank you, American crew!

From a 5min hair style to a 1hr style. I'm loving it

So I've been using yall gel since I was 17yrs old with a number 3 on top with high razor fade. Now 36🤓 with hair just below shoulder (2yrs of growth) now using yall molding clay & grooming cream. First time ever with this hair length. And I'm trying to cope with new compliments about my hair. So I had this customer walk in my convenience store checking out. She says "I like your hair what product do you use?" Me- 🤔 shampoo. It took a couple times to realize what she was talking about

Good stuff for very fine but very dense hair

Y’know, these hair products are varied and it takes time and trials to find just the right product for you. This product works great for me. My hair is very fine but very dense. By that I mean each hair is silky and fine but there are tons of them. The liquid version of this is good too but gives a firmer result. I often combine them a bit. A little, like dime-sized dollop works great on my relatively short haircut. Not very expensive and it works well for me. I hope it works the same for you!

New Fiber feels gluey and sticky

I have been using this product for years. The last Fiber I ordered is different. I still had some left from my previous Fiber and I can compare. The new fiber I received feels gluey, and makes my hair sticky and knotty. I really don’t understand why they would change this product after so many years. I am so disappointed.

No hold! Latest bad reviews are spot on

I used to swear by this. But it is no longer high hold. I don't know what has changed. I had tried molding clay, grooming cream...and this was the best by far. Something has changed. The last two weeks I have used it and it's like nothing has been in my hair at all. I've had to go back to hair spray to help it out this week. Terrible!

Quality has declined

I have used this product for almost 20 years. It used to be a firm consistency and leave your hair with a dry look. Now it's sloppy and makes your hair look greasy. I'm obviously not the only one who has noticed this. Why has crew destroyed what used to be a great product. I won't buy anything crew again.

Quality has declined

I used to love this product and I've used it for years. Like another customer review on here, I also think the product has changed and for the worse, unfortunately. The other review was from the UK, but I'm in the USA and I'm seeing a change as well. I've tried two different retailers and both purchases had the same quality issues. It used to be more solid to the touch and now it is much more gooey. It doesn't hold my hairstyle nearly as well as it used to. I was debating between one or two stars but decided on 1 as I would not recommend this anymore and there are better fibers out there.
