Don't get me wrong, there are a TON of awesome hair gel products on the market today. However, as a male, I find myself running into the same few issues... 1.) Yes, I have thick, Italian hair, but, as a male, I don't quite need "concrete hold." Give us some variety! 2.) I'm often able to find a decent "hold" level, but I'd simply like to smell like something other than Floral Grace in the Spring Pastures. 3.) To bring it all together, we simply NEED a solid degree of hold and need NOT smell like 5W-20. (That's a solid NASCAR Cup engine weight, making close to 900 horsepower, in case my "man-card" is in doubt.

I initially got this pomade given that I have longer hair, we all get fly always and I wanted something that wasn’t gel and hardening. It lasts long. However, after a while, it seemed to have dried out even after making sure the container was closed. Maybe I got unlucky with the one that I’ve purchased and should give it another shot. It is a little tough to spread across your hair without leaving a white streak that you’ll have to continuously massage into your hair until it goes away. Light smell.

I love American crew products, and this fiber cream is by far my favorite of the line now. This product is not a thick cream, doesn’t dry, flake, or become hard, or greasy. A softer more moldable cream version of fiber for those who used it long ago. A very small amount in towel dry hair. My hair is about 3 inches and works great. A true medium hold. Also good in shorter hair too. Thank you, American crew!

Have been using this product for about 20 years. However I noticed a change in the formula in the most recent batch I purchased. Its now extremely oily and it no longer holds your hair in place like it used to. Half way through the day my hair is starting to look greasy and flat. Deeply disappointing.

This is NOT the same American Crew Fiber that I've been using for the last several years. Inexplicably, they changed their formula to something softer and that does not hold all day the way it used to. The first time I saw this, I thought the supplier either sourced a fake batch or didn't store it property. This is infuriating. To change the product being sold with no announcement or disclaimer label is dishonest at best and counterfeit at worst.
So I've been using yall gel since I was 17yrs old with a number 3 on top with high razor fade. Now 36🤓 with hair just below shoulder (2yrs of growth) now using yall molding clay & grooming cream. First time ever with this hair length. And I'm trying to cope with new compliments about my hair. So I had this customer walk in my convenience store checking out. She says "I like your hair what product do you use?" Me- 🤔 shampoo. It took a couple times to realize what she was talking about
Y’know, these hair products are varied and it takes time and trials to find just the right product for you. This product works great for me. My hair is very fine but very dense. By that I mean each hair is silky and fine but there are tons of them. The liquid version of this is good too but gives a firmer result. I often combine them a bit. A little, like dime-sized dollop works great on my relatively short haircut. Not very expensive and it works well for me. I hope it works the same for you!
My husband loves this paste. It’s super thick, so if that’s not your thing, you won’t like it. The more you work it, the more it thins out and, depending on your preference, that could be good or bad. When I do my son’s hair with it, that’s good, but my husband likes it thicker because the hair doesn’t get as soft and it doesn’t have the same tendency to move. It’s not crunchy at all...he loves it and it works great for our son’s hair...although I work it more into our son’s hair. Easier to manipulate if you use a comb. The paste is white, so when using your fingers trying to work it into the hair for it not to show, you can easily overwork it. I think that’s why my husband prefers using the comb. So far I’m pleased with the results that Crew Fiber has on my fine/thin hair.I’ve only been using it for a few days.I’ve been using Fiber in conjunction with Crew Fortifying Shampoo.My hair immediately looked fuller and natural with an appropriate amount of shine and manageability.My hair still looked good in the morning with a quick brushing.No bed head.
