American crew is a really great product and works exactly as advertised. Its smooth and rich in texture and leaves your hair a little crunchy while firmly holding hair in place.. but it's just to expensive. I can get the same quality hair care If not less from a local grocery store for 75% less. I would use this product all the time, I just wish it was more affordable. I recommend this product for a high quality salon product that works! 👌

It's like most high end hair styling products. It does what it says it should. I use a pea size blob, a bit of water to emulsify and run through my hair prior to going in with a hair-dryer. Great volume for a high pony tail or any up-do. My son uses it to slick back his hair. Pure gel, no water. There's the usual tacky residue on your hands, brushes and combs. Wash brushes and combs using a little shampoo and you're ready for the next day.
I called your main office and left a message. The two tubes were different sizes. One was two inches shorter than the other. The shorter tube had approx. two fewer inches of gel compared to the other. It looks as if the shorter tube with less gel was used. There is something wrong with this order.
Fake Product. Tubes were refilled with fake product. Not Crew product. Text was rubbed off tubes so you can barely read it. Tubes were over filled with fake product that was leaking everywhere because seal was not on.
The product works well for me and has for a long time. The packaging was not able to contain product during shipping. The product was shipped after taping the individual lids shut and then combining two tubes at a time in plastic bags. Then, all was put into a flexible shipping envelop. One of the tubes was mashed enough to leak but the plastic bag contained the spill fortunately. So maybe better packaging is required.
This is NOT the same American Crew Light Hold Styling Gel I have used for years. What I received has a distinctively different smell, and is not a gel. What I received POURS out of the tube. You can't get a "dab" on your palm. Rather you pour/slop some on your hand and use what didn't run off into the sink. This is crap.
1st there are only 2 tubes included not 3. The item description at the bottom says 2 tubes but the top says 3. Also the product itself smells different and is much thinner than previous purchases of same product. Not bad, but definitely not the same. So I don’t know if American Crew changed the formula or if this is a knock-off.
I have buying the same product for years, this time it’s like water with a touch of gel. Try to shake it and it’s like water, open the cap and it will flow so rapidly like water!!! No way that this an original product.I didn’t check it till my current one is done so it passes the 30 days, contacted the seller but no answer. I have to put complaints with Walmart and the brand, this should not be allowed.
