2nd one - Lightweight and easy to manoeuvre

Bought the same last year in a different colour (‘living coral’, unfortunately no longer available) However this is bright and will stand out at the airports luggage carousel. Has since increased in price on all websites. Bought on sale at Myers who had the best price at the time. Have not used as yet, but the one I purchased last year was extremely light weight, roomy and so easy to manoeuvre. Perfect size for travelling to USA as within their specified dimensions . However, would be great if they had a larger size for flights to other destinations that are more generous with their size limits. Survived the 3 flights to USA and back, was packed to the max and nothing broke.

Absolutely happy with this!

I ended up in an absolute black hole whilst suircase shopping. Wanting something large enough for a 23kg checked luggage, and something sturdy enough to survive long haul flights. I am new to all this you see! Anyway this suitcase is strong, sturdy, pretty to look at, and ideal for long haul flights. I would reccomend. It has completed two long hall flights to America with only a slight scuff to show, and also travelled with me around the UK. Absolutely ideal.

Avoid; Poor quality zip.

TLDR; Zip broke, needed to wrap the case, no help from customer services.Unfortunately the zip broke when packing for our return journey from our holiday. Bad timing. We managed to get one of the zips to go round the length of the suitcase and then had to use a TSA lock to lock the zips together. We didnt have any confidence that the zip would survive the flight (and handling) so we paid for wrapping at the airport at a cost of $25 to ensure we could get our luggage home safely. This was the *first* use of the suitcase and was reported to the customer service team, who have stated that there are no refunds and returns must be under 21 days old, even though there is a warranty for the product. The photos show the design of the case has been done in a way that the ... MoreTLDR; Zip broke, needed to wrap the case, no help from customer services.Unfortunately the zip broke when packing for our return journey from our holiday. Disappointed
14 November 2022

Purchased product as old suitcases were hard body cases and heavy. Went for this product as description said lightweight. Tick on the lightweight element, more or less weightless when empty. Disappointed however, as on their first trip away, case came off airplane with an indent in the body of it and the case was scratched with black marks, scratches and marks due to hold on the aeroplane obviously, but I was hoping it had a scratch proof body, and I am very disappointed with the indent, did not anticipate this at all.

Just what we needed!
24 September 2022

We had to buy new lightweight luggage as we had restrictions on part of our journey which involved a seaplane. I ordered the large and medium sizes but we only kept the medium. I'm very glad we did - the case is really lightweight- and both were well under 20kgs. Admittedly we had summer clothes but the size was ideal. My daughter had 2 large, new Samsonite cases which were lighter than our American Tourister ones - far more expensive- but I would say these are just as good. We had in total 6 flights and two boat rides and the cases were unscathed!

Light with useful features

It is a very good cabin bag 2.4 kg, only I decided to exchange it to a regular Airconic (2kg) to gain extra 400 g for carry-on essentials. The open front adds a bit of bulk, and I preferred a slimmer design. Also, I carry my laptop in a backpack onboard. Otherwise, great quality, the wheels slide on a carpet at home very easily. I forgot to check where this model is made, a plain front Airconic cabin bag is made in India.

Sturdy hard light weight luggage.
14 December 2022

Sturdy hard light weight luggage. It was well packaged and a quick postage from Myers. Thank you Myers. Love the look of it. I will be using it shortly and will know more about the durability once my trip is completed as I will be traveling to few countries shortly. Previously I had hardcases and it cracked when I collected from Airports as I guess the airport luggage handlers don’t handle these luggage well throw it to the belt. So I am hoping American Tourister won’t crack like my previous ones.

Very happy with my purchase!

I've been looking for a larger, hard suitcase for some time and wanted to have a different colour rather than the boring black. This blue one suddenly came in stock and I ordered it straight away. It has quite a different look compared to other suitcases and the blue colour means that it's easier to spot on the luggage belt. I've just completed my first flight with this suitcase and it passed with flying colours. It's very sturdy and easy to pack. Apart from the colour and design, I also like that the lock is on the top rather than the long side and that the zippers are flat. The zip seems very good and I have no doubt that it will prevent water from entering the suitcase if left in the rain. The handle is very comfortable and the wheels are excellent, which means ... MoreI've been looking for a larger, hard suitcase for some time and wanted to have a different colour rather than the boring black. Very promising purchase!

Never have i ever spent this amount of money on a case. I have, however, spent many dollars replacing cheaper cases that have busted after a few domestic trips. Whilst it’s too early to tell if the longevity of the american tourister will be superior, first impressions are hopeful! Lightest case i’ve ever owned, best wheel mobility i’ve ever owned, and the zip construction looks like it’ll go the distance. Love the colour too :)

Worst suitcase ever!
13 June 2023

I bought two of these cases recently. The zip burst on the first one on the flight out, which meant my luggage inside was nearly completely lost in transit. The second case broke on the flight back, with both the zip bursting and the wheel completely collapsing. On both occasions the suitcases were not overfilled or overweight. American Tourister Australia were excellent, and sent me a replacement case for the first broken one before my return trip home (however, not in the colour I originally bought it in.) American Tourister UK are doing absolutely nothing about the second case claiming it was my fault the wheel collapsed. Apparently warranty means nothing... A suitcase should be able to withstand its first return flight. I would not recommend this company to ... MoreI bought two of these cases recently.
