Great little suitcase - nice and light for solo travel, with a fairly unique design that makes it easy to spot in large groups or on a luggage carousel. Was slightly thinner than expected, but the case is taller and wider to accommodate the smaller depth of the case, and one side can expand as well.The interior components (i.e. the straps, divider etc) are all decent quality, but the exterior shell is prone to scratching as the plastic is a little soft/flexible. The upside of this is that the case is unlikely to crack or dent if dropped (as the material has some "give" to absorb any impacts), however this does mean the case starts to scuff right away, even on fairly short trips. If this bothers you, I'd recommend avoiding the pastel colours.

Unfortunately, the first time I used my case, when I collected it off conveyor belt in Turkey the case was damaged.. a split of about 4 inches .. it is now unusable. I had thought these cases would be incredibly robust .. my last one was about 50% cheaper and literally went all over the world with me and whilst eventually a bit bashed the integrity of the case was still great. The case looks fabulous to be fair ( when it first arrived), the colour is perfect but I am incredibly disappointed that it hasn't survived a single trip!

Have owned large and small soundbox suitcases in yellow for a number of years now, maybe since they came out? and we are now adding another large one to help with family holidays! They are relatively basic, but have everything you need and are light and easy to maneuver. My only complaint is how much the handle cuts in to the inside of the case, you have to pack your underwear around it, but on the plus side if they had covered it over then you would lose packing volume, so... Overall, a good purchase, happy to recommend.
It's amazing in every way. I fell in love with the colour first, then all the bonus that came with it are fabulous. The luggage lock is great, the straps inside are fab and lots of pockets to keep things separate. I'm a single mum of two young children and I bought two of these for a two week holiday. Fits perfectly! (Babies come with lots of stuff)
I brought the large and small suitcase as my friend has this in yellow. I brought these in 2021. i used them both for the first time when I visited Barbados late October this year (2022). When I picked up the large suitcase in Barbados it had a crack down the front middle. I paid nearly £200 for the one suitcase and on the first journey it ever makes it cracks. I had to cover it with cling film on the journey back to the UK in case it split even more. Very disappointed and reading the guarantee/warranty - damage by airline is not covered. The customer care telephone number just directs any damaged suitcases to a separate company, you do not deal with AT directly. Absolutely love this case and have been given so many compliments on it. I always buy brightly coloured suitcases as it makes them so much easier to spot where I've left them on a train or airport luggage collection. After six months' use it's still tough and durable, and showing few signs of wear.
I bought the yellow case and it is a joy to travel with. I have had several trips abroad this year and the case has been perfect. Very sturdy, fits everything in secured in each side and easy to manoeuvre! I love the two handle lengths which makes it more adaptable for different situations. I bought the yellow and it is always easy to spot it shining along the baggage belt with all the boring dull cases! The built-in lock is very easy to use too and saves messing with a padlock.
I treated myself to this suitcase at it looked so fancy on the picture. It really does look great and I love how easily it can be pushed and pulled. However, something incredibly happened on my second time using it. The suitcase slipped out of my hand and fell down a very long set of stone steps at an airport. It was terrible! My laptop without a case was inside. The suitcase wasn't very full so there wasn't much padding for the laptop. I expected it to be in pieces but when I had a look nothing had happened to it! It was so well protected by the suitcase, which doesn't even have a scratch or dent after this! This incident made me take time for this review as I'm so pleased to have invested in it. Amazing quality and looks! I highly recommend it!
My second purchase of one of these American Touristers. A great case, excellent quality. Great bright colour to spot. I know these are expensive but you get what you pay for. Great to pack, its like a Tardis! Extremely easy to wheel around, really smooth. Lock essy to use, secure. Thoroughly recommend.
