I had researched the American Tourister brand prior to visiting store. On an in store demonstration and being happy with inner compartments, space, plus 4 wheels I chose this particular model. To date have only used twice and travelling buy train but has been fine and can pack a lot into it. I, personally would not put a heavy extra bag around the handle but the case itself is light and tough, the lock system secure but advise to keep instructions to hand until familiar, confident.

Bought this as it exactly fits the dimensions for many airlines: Norwegian, EasyJet etc (but not Ryanair?). It seems well made & sturdy. The expandability adds a useful extra - the expanded dimension fits the airline requirements, unexpanded it is smaller. The 4 wheel spinners are highly manoeuvrable, the lock, internal straps and the zipped divider with a zipped pocket are just enough adaptability - some cases have unnecessary flaps & pockets (imo). Whilst there are cheaper suitcases this seems a reasonable price for a product from a known brand (apparently now the 'affordable' brand of Samsonite but I only just realised that)

I saw this and it cheered me up! It’s very light and the wheels move easily. It was bigger than I thought so perhaps need to check your flight carrier dimensions. Fine for Jet2. I want it for cabin luggage as wouldn’t want to be parted from it. Zips, pockets and holding straps inside with built in TSA security lock. Hard shell but still a little expandable. Looks great, there are many colours, but M&S just sell a few. I bought pink. Love the colour - pink inside too. Matching larger versions and a smaller beauty case but I thought that impracticable.

I thought I'd try something a bit different for hand luggage because I fancied a different colour and the blue for this model looked nice. However when it arrived it's a lot lighter than it appears in the photos and looks rather flimsy and plasticy.The inside has a very nylon lining in a way that the soundbox felt a lot better quality. I bought this suitcase as I needed a medium sized one for a 4 day trip (cabin size would have been too small!). I spent a while looking at various ones in John Lewis (cheaper and more expensive) but decided to purchase this American Tourister one. The design on the front is really nice which was part of the appeal. It is sturdy with 4 wheels which make it easy to manoeuvre. Inside it has a zip in the lid compartment and straps to keep everything in place. It also has a zip pocket in the main section that is useful. I've used it twice now and I'm glad that I chose this one.
Delivery really quick & pick up at Waitrose worked well. I love the colour (lavender) casters and functionality but unfortunately it turned out to be much smaller than I thought. The dimensions in the description are all slightly smaller than what I measure, although the capacity in litres is probably about right. I'm going to have to look again and find one that has a larger capacity in litres. The joys of buying on line. It was great when you could actually go into the John Lewis store and actually see the products but they don't seem to stock much nowadays. I guess this is because people (not me) would browse in the store & then go and buy cheaper on line.

It also has a little seperate zip bag which I used for products, that if leaked, could have made a mess in the case but I felt confident that if they got damaged it would have stayed contained in the pouch.It was very easy to manover around the aiport, the four wheels are brilliant. Fitted everything in that I need for a two week holiday and was very easy to travel with. The customer service was excellent also. I am not sure I would trust any case with protruding wheels in the hold/baggage handlers (why don't they invent wheels that can store away within the case when not needed?), I would be very annoyed if the wheels got severed off. It has a three year manufacturer's guarantee, maybe for that reason. I love the range of colours available and am very happy with my teal case. It would be easy to identify at the baggage claim carousel if I ever did need to put it in the hold. I'm really happy with the case, it runs smoothly and it was an ideal size for travel on train, tube and aeroplane.
This suitcase has traveled with me on only two trips so far, but I already love its smoothness and ease of movement. No matter how heavy its contents are, it's effortless to roll, with no pressure on the wheels that would slow it down or restrict its movement. It's spacious enough for trips to warm places, and I haven't even needed to use the expansion yet.One suggestion, American Tourister, please add side handles even to small suitcases. It's so convenient when you can easily turn it on the overhead compartment of the plane or open it by holding the handle. I really miss that.
Looking forward to giving this case a test run soon. I think it should travel well. Its a good size and weight and the external design is simple and nicer in real life than on screen. The inside sections are what I required.I didnt want the peachy colour so opted for black but really didn't want a black suitcase either. Nevertheless it is actually pretty nice - that star pattern pops surprisingly. Straps will suffice to make it stand out and perhaps black will weather the travel better. It would have been great to see this case produced in a third colour.
