Amouage presents a new fragrant pair in 2011 – Honour Woman and Honour Man. These perfumes are dedicated to the tragic story of Madame Butterfly, the geisha Cio-Cio-San who married an American and waited for his return for three years. More specifically, the inspiration for the new creations was drawn from the last act of the eponymous opera in which Madame commits suicide. Honour Man is a spicy – woody fragrance of classical compositions. The male version symbolizes the son of Madame Butterfly. Perfumer Nathalie Feisthauer composed it out of spicy notes of red and black pepper at the top. The heart of geranium, elemi and nutmeg is placed on the intensive woody base of patchouli, cedar, vetiver, frankincense, musk and tonka bean.

I can't say enough good things about Beauty Affairs. I've been a loyal customer now for about three years and can't fault their delivery - it feels like I get VIP Express Post when I just make a regular order. I (now) do a lot of online shopping across the board (clothes, shoes, beauty, etc.) and Beauty Affairs stand out from every other vendor I have shopped with throughout COVID as fast, reliable, and essentially flawless in their supply chain when even the previously-good-ones have slowly fallen victim throughout 2021 to COVID disruptions and delays. Whatever they're doing, it works! I will only shop elsewhere for beauty, cosmetics, and perfume on the odd occasion they don't stock a brand I want, but apart from that, I say: MECCA, who? Sephora, what? ^.^

It's another masterpiece from amouage. Hugely disappointment is that it's highly under rated Gem. Beautiful soft smell with great combination of peony, lily of valley, leather and vetiver. My daily office fragrance and 2 nd bottle. Not loud enough and beast mode as like other amouage, like interlude man,Goldman, jubilation XXV,epic man etc. But great under rated beautiful signature worthy fragrance

So this one is definitely not what I expected. I have been on my cologne collecting mission and I saw a lot of great reviews behind this one. One this I expect from a cologne not matter what is an experience and compliments. This one from the beginning opens with a hard blue berry smell and the incense smell reminds me of sitting there with the Jamaican guy with so many different scents to smell. That is the problem with this fragrance it is all over the place. If you look you the ingredients you will fully understand what I mean. There is no smooth blend to it. My favorite cologne right now It PDM layton. So if you have ever tried this you would fully understand when I say no smoothness to this one. After a couple of wears I kind of appreciate the art of this cologne and would definitely recommend this to anyone how collect cologne for its artistic value. You can not pull this off causally or unless you are Mr. Burns in your office then I would not recommend it for the office as well. This is a formal cologne and not if you are the main attraction at this type of event. It is for the guy that oozes out confidence but has a quirky mindset to break down all the notes in here and try to convince someone of do you see the art in the smell. All in all this is definitely a 3 star cologne and anyone who tell you otherwise they are looking at the cost not the smell. Definitely sample this one first. I blind bought it and have used it 4 times in the office, at church, at a formal event and at the gym. Check it out for yourself and give me your thoughts. Maybe I am missing something but I highly doubt it. Kavi Nose LOL

I had a very good experience with Lorena from customer support. I was querying the cost of Youngblood mineral makeup on live chat (excellent product by the way) of which I had bought 2. The cost of the item displayed for sale appeared less than the final checkout price. It turned out the sale price was for a particular color but this was unclear on the page. Lorena looked into the discrepancy immediately and after explaining the reason, offed to give me a refund on that particular sale to compensate for the confusion. She was polite and considerate throughout. It’s good to know that such a fabulous Aussie company has such lovely staff!
But really I wanted to come here and give thanks and my 5 stars to Beauty Affairs! In this current climate (covid) it’s been tough.... I’m a mum of three with a small baby and a child with special needs who as anyone in NSW would know r home doing school.... shops aren’t open anyway and I have been in real need of a “glow up” Beauty Affairs helped me! How? First off, they have great customer service! They’re very friendly and get back to you straight away (given it is within working hours) the pack it and send it and I honestly receive it the next morning! To me those are two of the most important things! I can’t go out I don’t have time to do anything... I appreciate anyone who can get me my stuff quick and who actually get back to you! The aromatics in this scent are incredible. It's sweet, yet bitter. Heavy, yet invigorating. This isn't something that can be worn in most office settings as it'd be overpowering to some, but it's a great signature scent for everything outside of the office. The Oud and Rose combination always pleases, and the extra notes inside send it to a different league. It didn't last crazy long on my skin, maybe 4-5 hours. It does last nearly all day on my clothing. Expect it to project a foot or two from yourself. The only reason I can't consider it perfect is because it would come across as too strong and offensive to some. Other than that, I love the scent.
Arguably the best Amouage ever created and a remarkably easy-to-wear frankincense. Frankincense (incense) is not an easy note to wear. In its pure form it can come across as astringent, lemony or even urea-like. Of course, incense of any kind is not meant to be applied to skin; instead, it is burned to give off its enchanting, unique aroma. Amouage hit the bull's eye with this creation though. Jubilation XXV Man (not to be confused with Jubilation 25, which is another scent by Amouage marketed to women), is a complex scent, built around frankincense and wrapped in a fougere accord. It does not smell harsh or synthetic, yet does is not your average, crowd-pleasing, designer scent. Jubilation XXV opens with a unique accord of berries, supported by a delicate orange ... Jubilation XXV opens with a unique accord of berries, supported by a delicate orange and davana (both are barely discernible notes). This aspect appeared more authentic and bolder in older bottles; however, it does not last very long. The frankincense begins to project from the get go and constitutes the backbone structure of the entire scent. As the scent progresses, a gentle sweetness emerges, which could either be the opoponax or 'honey' note. Interestingly, the note pyramid claims an oud note, but I cannot detect it. From a distance, Jubilation XXV turns a few heads (including your own!), as the curiosity to get a whiff of "that smell" quietly calls for your attention. The incense here invokes memories of an Eastern or oriental church somewhat, but the complex blend make it quite wearable. The gentle sweetness removes any perceived harshness from the incense and comes across as calming or even meditative. It won't fill a room with its projection (it was never intended to), but it projects remarkably well and easily lasts a full day on skin and clothes, if not longer. Just be sure to stick with fewer sprays, otherwise it can become a bit of an olfactory mess. One or two sprays at most. The most recent bottles begin with less than average projection and longevity, but once they've been used a bit and allowed to mature over time, they do improve dramatically. The non-magnetic cap bottles would last past 12 hours and even survive showers. Current bottles are very long lasting though; just be sure to purchase a Made in Oman version.
I have read many reviews and watched youtube videos regarding Jubilation XXV perfume. A little less than OK scent. Last normal (~3 hrs) but I AM NOT IMPRESSED!! Bottle looks great however, I am more interested in turning heads with the aroma. Not worth the price or advertisement for a 25 year anniversary special. It appears as if they put less oil/aroma. It's like going to a bar and being served watered down alcohol from the original bottle. You can taste the alcohol but notice it lacks strength! Better off with Sawalef line, Swiss Arabian and Khalis or Afnan line.
Amouage Jubilation is labeled "eau de parfum" - usually this denotes a highly concentrated, powerful scent. However, this was not the case here. While the scent is attractive, it has no sillage, no projection, and zero - I mean ZERO staying power. For over $230 a bottle, I expect much, much more. This is in the same family as M7 Oud Absolu, which is great if you can find the original. Their newer version (does not say "Oud Absolu" on the bottle) is also weak.
For someone who does not do floral, I find a lot of the floral scents make my hairs stand on end. This one however does not have that intense white floral aspect, it’s more of a “deeper” floral, for want of a better way of putting it. I’d say that because of the tarragon, sage and fig notes. It smells a bit like body wash to me though. Otherwise a perfect summer scent!
