Andis Cordless T-Outliner Lithium-Ion Trimmer

If you check my profile out you’ll see I own the T Outliner in black and did a review. This is amazing for shape up and to get those really sharp sideburns and neck lines. This device even makes shaping up behind your ears easy. This is perfect for the beautiful Caesar haircut as well. I’ve had mine for over 7 years and it’s not showing any sign of dying any time soon. Also the cord is super long.

I happened to purchase this from Amazon months prior to the pandemic starting. I picked up cutting my own hair just in time, a big bald chop in October using a pair of Wahl cordless trimmers, and then picking these up in January. They were the obvious choice because it’s what I’ve seen in the barbershop since I was a kid, but man these are annoying. They heat up quite fast, and since the body is closely connected with the blade, the blade gets even hotter after running for say… 5 minutes. I have to strategically remember to do my facial hair first then my scalp, otherwise I end up burning my face with the blade. These are highly precise clippers easy to maneuver and get around tough to get areas. I highly recommend them, they have lasted me years. There are better blades like the GTX but I would absolutely buy these again and again.

My husband has had this same one for at least 15 years. Our ten year wedding anniversary this year I ordered him a new generation 2 from Sally’s beauty supply. Maybe day three I realized the money came back which I knew that meant they didn’t have it. 😕 Babes just always buy replacement parts, that’s why it’s lasted over 15 years and we have two boys ( one 1/2 dreaded). Anybody can get their hands on one fo real fo real I’m here. I mean really get it, not get my money back with a 😔 sorry! Best Haircutting Implement I have ever Purchased

I have been through various Peanut trimmers and a Wahl included one. with those trimmers. I always had issues with them irritating the skin and cutting people around the ears. The Andis T outliner has had none of those issues. I have not cut a single person's ear with this trimmer. I have heard from a co-worker that the blade can break sort-of easily if dropped. But have not had that issue myself due to the fact that I use a silicone mat. another issue that I noticed is that the metal ring (for hanging it up) seems like if it bent it would break pretty easily. on a whole though this Clipper is totally worth it and makes kids haircuts much easier.

First time buying this brand of clippers I could use out of the box, this the only brand I like

This is the first time I bought clippers that I was able to use without adjusting them somehow, Ive bought several sets of clippers the same brand and they are sitting on a shelf at my barber shop unable to use them. Its also been very difficult buying blades online, 90% of the ones Ive bought DO NOT WORK.

Power cord adaptor falls off.

When first delivered the clipper would not start, it showed no signs of life. Contacted Beautopia by phone and was told I could take it back to the local store. Nice staff at Beautopia Morningside opened a new product to find that it would not go either. After about ten attempts re installing the AU power adaptor the new clippers started going. I said that I had lost confidence in the product and requested a refund. This was rejected as I had bought the product online. I now have a set of clippers that work sometimes when the power adaptor decides to stay attached. Save yourself a lot of hassel and buy a cordless one.

Bought pivot pro andis tblade shape up clippers. Cannot wait for them to get here, but any barber stuff I try and stay in my lane with pricing. Never in a million years would I spend over a 100 on 1 pair, but 50 to 75 is a go for andis brand. They are a household name and are simply in every case, I believe a better product overall. From clippers for average Joe all the way to a professional stylist or barber.

Seriously?? Is this real?? You want a review for a product I never even received and couldn’t get anyone to respond to my attempts to communicate. Anyone who reads this… run! This is a fraudulent company. I’ve seen other reviews and IG mentions saying the same. Report to BBB. IMMEDIATELY.

Too bulky, sometimes doesn't move while turned on

I needed to get this before my shop opened, because my Mag trimmer just died completely. This was the only thing available for pickup at my local Sally's, that didn't cost an arm and a leg (still cost way too much). I really would have preferred a Beret. Anout $20 cheaper, and way more reliable. This thing was super heavy, and sometimes the blade didn't move while it was turned on. When it did move, I had to hold it in the same spot for a few seconds, to get any kind of line. Not a fan. Also, all clipper/trimmer sales are final. The person I talked to, gave me the 800 number for Andis, as it's thankfully under warranty.
