My first cordless metal blade clipper. A little heavy for me at first, but now I dont notice. Makes my haircuts quicker and look much better. Im very happy with it! Has speed options so you can turn it up for thicker hair and keep it low otherwise. Very quiet.

Ive been cutting hair for 19 years. I am so happy that I finally put out the $$$ and bought quality detachable blade clippers. These have made my mens cuts a thousand times easier & with better results in less time! Although they are heavier than the average clippers, the fact that theyre cordless makes it less noticeable. I would suggest getting the slightly pricier ceramic blades because these do tend to get warm pretty quickly. Overall, Im thrilled that I have these!!!

Big boots to fill in replacing my Andis BGR+ with this latest model. But its every bit as comfortable and reliable as the former and all of my old attachments fit the newer 79005 ZRII. Very happy with performance and ability to alternate cutting speed.
The andis Supra clippers had been on my radar for a while. As a barber who does 70-80 cuts a week, I needed a workhorse that was well designed with good battery life. My andis bgr clippers seem to be more powerful than these things. One of my biggest complaints is that Hair gets caught in the very flimsy seams on the plastic housing. The seams have been snagging on multiple things and I just know part of the house will break soon. And anytime an andis ceramic blade is attached to this thing,they are TERRIBLE. They Pull hair left and right. Tried 4 brand new ceramic blades. Went back to my oster blades and my oster octanes after these failed me hard. The on off button is also poorly placed. I bought this clipper hoping it could be a work horse. It really hasn't lived up to that. It's a good clipper for detail work and light body work, but if you need it to power through thick hair, it will get bogged down. I also have trouble with hair getting bunched up under guard combs. Battery life is great. Fits great in the hand. Super quiet. Overall a very good clipper, just not a work horse.
This clipper is a beast. Love the different speeds. Low speed is a lot quieter if you are cutting a kid or just don't want to make as much noise.A friend has this exact clipper but purchased it over a year ago and mine is much quieter. Great battery life and no complaints on anything about this clipper
I had a love/hate relationship with these clippers. I only use cordless tools so I was happy to get this, but this original design (they now make one with detachable battery, not internal like this one) is flawed. I had mine not even a year and the battery went bad. Its internal and cant be removed so I was just out $250 or whatever I paid.
I strongly recommend investing in ceramic blades, if you don't already have them, for this particular clipper. Otherwise you're going to constantly hear your clients talk about the blade is hot and or you're going to constantly burn their ears. but when you get the ceramic blades this is going to be your favorite new toy. Going cordless is where it's at. The lithium-ion battery is great
I have the pulse clipper, which is so much more costly to replace at the last minute when mine would not turn on or charge. so I had no spare and needed to get something ridght away. I ordered replacemrnt parts with no luck to possibly fix the issue. so these replacement part are interchangeable between the 2. i have spare for back up now.
