I grabbed this when I found it on sale and because I am such a fan of Animal Crossing: New Leaf. This is a cute game where you get to build and decorate houses of various villagers based on their preferences. It's very easy to get into the get play. The design styles are very easy to follow, with all​ of the the furniture and decorations either already in your inventory or given to you for the specific house you're working on. You can also revisit villagers to add on additional rooms or redesign their current set up. The game does use the Amiibos and Amiibo cards. And while not necessary, it does add a fun component to the game.I'd say the biggest let down of the game is the villagers reactions to the room(s) you have decorated. It's awesome playing and interacting with them in the home you designed.All in all, Happy Home Designer is a great game. It's quick, simple, and easy, and very calming. Nintendo has kept a lot of the winning features from the AC franchise alive in this game, and even added tons of cute new details, but has still kept the game fresh, simple, and uncomplicated. When this game first came out, I had no interest in this game whatsoever. After a couple years of a HARD NO for Happy Home Designer and Amiibo festival, Animal Crossing New Leaf came back with a new free update that made use of the many Animal Crossing Amiibo figures as well as compatibility with Happy Home Designer. Eventually I found myself drawn to the game at its new reduced price and Im glad I did. The game starts off well enough with features I LOVE to see added to the mainline Animal Crossing games. Here you design houses and buildings to your hearts content, technically to your client's content but they're very easy to please when you have what they want. I bought the Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer about 4 months ago shortly after the price dropped to $19.99 at my local Walmart store. I have Animal Crossing Wild World & Animal Crossing New Leaf. I love playing the games, they are cute, fun & the gratification of getting new furniture & clothing items, and banking up bells/coins(?) makes it addicting to play.Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer is fun & has a unique game play. The player basically is an interior designer for the villagers. My forte is anything I can do to full fill my need to be artistic. This game is very different too the original animal crossing dynamic, you are once again working for Tom Nook who gives you more authority over the town than ever. You design residents houses inside and out, you design hospitals, cafes, restaurants, shops, schools. Everything a town needs. You can even change what your character looks like including hair eyes and clothes as long as your wearing your uniform (top) The main part of the gameplay is designing the homes of your residents. You may not have your own house which makes it lack the personal aspect of the game, you can design your residents homes however you like.
