I have 2 of these cables and the cables appear fairly robust and I certainly like the improved cable tidy. Sadly, they are let down by what appears to be a slightly weak latching mechanism. It seems ok in some devices but quite poor with others. I have the previous versions of these Anker cables and they don’t exhibit this issue, even though they are several years old. I see that others are seeing this issue too.Apart from that, they are a good cable and Anker's customer support have been excellent.

We've all been there. Broken chargers, lost plugs, phones that take forever to charge. Basically, Anker just makes good chargers. Sure, they're not as cheap as the $3.99 gas station chargers you could buy, but they will last much longer, look better, and charge your phone faster. I also got an Anker charger to go with my cable, and my phone and tablet can now charge more than 50% in 15 minutes. I had no idea my phone and tablet could charge that fast, but it turns out I had just been using a 10W charger. Now that I can charge that fast, I never worry about my device batteries because I know I can get them charged so quickly. Now that I am used to fast charging, I am never going back and never buying a low-quality cable or charger ever again.
I purchased a 2-pack of these cables from Costco. The box says they are USB-C to USB-C cables, 6 ft long, and support Power Delivery 3.1 at 240W. These are top-tier specs, and I thought it would be a great cable.However, what they do not say, and what should be very clear, is that this cable is intended for CHARGING ONLY. It only supports the 25-year-old USB 2.0 data transfer speeds of 40 MegaBytes per second. This is extremely slow and means transfering data like videos will take HOURS.I will be returning this deceptive product to Costco.
I like everything about this charging cable from Anker. This is the USB-C cable. It comes in a variety of colors which is one reason I like it so well. The cable is encased in a pleasant feeling material. It bends and flexes without putting strain on the cable. It is very soft. There is an attachment that keeps it together when you roll it up. I have never had any problems with this unlike some others that seem to quit a few weeks after I buy them. Anker seems to be a very reliable and trustworthy company that puts out first rate products. These are the only charging cables I will buy for my iphone.
